Ian's POV:

It's been a couple of weeks and I've noticed how Dabin has grown distant with me. It's alright as long as he keeps his promise. But alongside this, the looks of pity on the crew's eyes is simply heartrending. Especially when that appears to be the only look they have for me. Shit. Even I have started to feel bad for myself.
"Chris?" I heard a small voice say. I turned around and saw her. "Oh, hey. Come in." I said as I got up and opened the door for her. "Take a seat please. Anywhere you'd like." I offered. After she sat down, I mirrored her actions and sat on my previous spot.
"Would you like something to eat or drink?" I questioned. "I'll take a honey lemon tea." She spoke up. "And... Done. It's on the way." I said. "You okay?" I asked. "I'm al... I'm sorry." She said with teary eyes. "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked as I looked at her. I would've hugged her but I don't want her to feel uncomfortable.
"I- I might have to leave. I might have to go back t-to.." "Hey, relax. Take slow breaths, alright? I'm here for you." I said as I offered my hand. She took it and I felt warm but heart broken at the same time. It's alright. It's not her fault.
"Better?" I asked after a few minutes. "Yes. Thank you. I'm sorry you have to see me like this." She said with her little nervous laugh. I simply nodded and hander her my tissue box. "Thank you." She said as she took it.
"You know, you don't have to apologize for showing that side of you. You're only human. Plus, we've seen each other like that plenty of times." I said. "Thanks Chris. I mean it." She said.
"Are you able to talk now?" I asked. "Yes. I'm not sure how you will take this, but I must let you know first." She spoke. "Okay. Go on." I said soothingly. "I might have to go back home." She said.
"Why? Are your parents alright?" I asked. Her parents and I have a marvelous relationship. It honestly wouldn't surprise anyone if I claimed them as mine.
"They're alright. It's just that I might go back to give myself some time. Things have gotten a bit too hectic, I'm afraid. " She spoke. Oh Dabin. You're gonna hear me out. Each and every single little minute.

3rd P. POV:
And so, the boy did indeed go after whom he thought to be his best mate. Both boys, in fact, had many feelings pent up and they did not hesitate to go at each others neck. Will their friendship go beyond all these conflicts? Or perhaps, will it wilt?
