Her POV:
Is it bad that I don't feel like Dabin really cares for me? He only ever holds my hand when we go out with the crew. Specifically, with DPR. He rarely takes pictures of us together. And when he does, it's only to brag about not being lonely. Let's not even talk about showing affection. The vacant space that it holds is simply pathetic. I just hope that things get better. I hope choosing him wasn't a mistake.
3rd P. POV:
One year has passed and the boy whom she had chosen is changing. Like the seasons, one must change. Will she change or continue down?Ian's POV:
"Hey! Wait up!" I heard behind me. Who would be out so late? "Yeah?" I said turning around, but only to be faced by someone I thought I'd never see ever again. Hadn't she gone to another city? "You?! What are you doing here?! And at this late at night?! Hadn't you left?!" I asked overwhelmed by the resurfacing feelings. They never left. And they never will. "Chris, Chris, Chris. Calm down. Let's go get a coffee and we can talk, hm?" She proposed. I, of course, couldn't decline such offer. After all, I didn't know how long it had to be till I could see her again. And so we went to grab said coffee.
"So, how has life been?" I asked. "It's been alright, I guess. What about you?" She said. Although she didn't know, I had learned to read her body language, and by the looks of it, she was trying to evade answering. "Are you alright? You seem a bit distressed." I spoke as I looked at her carefully. "I don't know. Things have been a bit off with Dabin." At the sound of his name, I can't describe it, but there was a strange bubbly feeling. A bad bubbly feeling.
"Has he hurt you?" I asked without hesitation. "Luckily, no. Not physically at least." I heard her say. "Wanna talk about it?" I said as I held her hand. Her once warm hands now felt cold and un lovingly. How could someone not care for her? How could he not care for her?
"Could you manage hearing me out? It's quite the long story." She said with a nervous laugh. Somehow, it sounded hollow. Like, it was empty. "I've got all the time in the world. Well sorta." I said to which she laughed. And this laugh, this laugh wasn't as hollow.3rd P. POV:
And she told him. The year that they spent apart was miserable. About how she was miserable. How her lover had become distant as the days went by. And all this hurt him. How his best mate was hurting his other half. How his best mate dishonored their promise. Christian was hurt, but he wouldn't show it. Not one bit.
