Sometime later, the man decided to leave the house. He walked out the front door and hid behind a tree in the yard. Once that happened, the phone in the man's pocket rang.

"Did you get it?" asked a voice on the phone.

"Sure did!" the man said, pulling out a camera hidden underneath his trench coat. "You should have seen the footage I shot! This shit is definitely gonna go viral!"

"Yeah, Colin's gonna become famous- for all the wrong reasons!" said the voice on the phone.

The guy in the trench coat was none other than Mark, a bully from Colin's school. Meanwhile, the voice on the phone was Sarah, Mark's girlfriend and partner-in-crime.

"You should get outta there as soon as possible," Sarah stated.

"I'm on my way to your house right now, babe," Mark replied. "See you later," he said, hanging up.

Still, even with the excitement of filming a potential viral video, Mark could not help but feel uneasy.

"Why do I get the feeling that I'm being watched?" Mark said to no one in particular. He started walking again. After a few minutes, he picked up the pace to the point of speed-walking, unable to shake the ominous feeling he had. Soon, Mark decided to run down the dark streets, hoping to get to Sarah's house as quickly as possible. Then, Mark looked behind while running to see if anyone had followed him. When he saw nobody, he turned back around and bumped into someone, making him fall to the ground.

Looking up, he saw a man looking down on him with shining, vermillion eyes.

"What the fu..." Mark started to shout before the man picked him up and bit into his neck. Mark immediately let out a gasp of pain as he felt his blood getting drained. Luckily Mark had a switchblade in his pocket if an emergency arose. He stabbed the attacker in the chest, piercing his heart.

As blood pooled under the vampire's body, Mark noticed Sarah's house not too far from where he stood. Clutching his neck, he ran towards her house and rang the doorbell.

Sarah came to the door and got greeted by the sight of a bloodied Mark holding up his camera used to record the prank home invasion.

"I did it, Sarah. I did it," Mark said weakly.

The last things Mark ever heard were Sarah's screams ringing out into the Halloween night.
