Nyx pov:
I woke up hurriedly, and instead of feeling my soft pillow I felt cold grass under my cheek. Jolting upright I looked around seeing an enormous field of long green grass, with tall trees scattered through it.
I am not the type to dream, or sleepwalk, so I started panicking. Was I kidnapped? That was the first thought that came to mind. I then heard a voice, and let me tell you, I have lived with Cassian and Azriel so I don't get scared easily but I nearly died I was so scared.
"What the fuck?"
It was a female voice, and it was behind me. I turned around and saw a blonde haired girl laying in the grass blinking up into the sunlight.
"Uh, Hi" I said, which probably wasn't the best idea. Her eyes went from confused and tired to completely ice cold, and she leaps up and knocks me to the ground, her forearm at my chest.
"How-" I stuttered, I was always able to beat Cassian and Azriel when we sparred, and I was supposed to be the fast one, but this girl moved so incredibly quickly. It was amazing, but akkkkk.
"Who the hell are you!?" She says, and she doesn't say it loudly but her voice holds such power.
"Uh-" I stutter,
"What the fuck is your name bumbling idiot!!" Wow, she doesn't like me very much.
"Nyx, hi" Her eyes glare down at me, they are actually really pretty, turquoise, with the pupil ringed with gold.
Then something changes and she gets off of me, I slowly stand up and take a few steps back. She then states, very abruptly with a completely different tone, "I don't know where we are, or why but you will be my hostage." with that she walks up behind me and ties my hands behind my back. Wait....where the fuck did she get rope from.
She notices me trying to see what my hands are bound with and she says, "Oh it air, come along"
"WHAT?" I am the most confused person in the world right now,
She starts walking and somehow I follow without even meaning to. My arms not budging from their restraints. She walks out into the field and I can't help but follow helplessly.
This is fucking embarrassing.
