"If you fall asleep in my car again, I won't carry you. Just so you know." He looked at the girl who sat in his car for a second time. Both sat in the car that was decreasing in temperature due to Minhee breaking his car window.
"Does it look like I want to be carried?" She scoffed, crossing her arms as she raised a brow at Beomgyu's statement.
Yes her legs were aching from her running but she didn't like being carried by anyone. She scoffed once again at the thought of a criminal carrying her bridal style to his gang base. 'He wouldn't even be able to carry me. Stop thinking of those comic scenerios.' She thought to herself.
"You don't look so good down there, but I may say out of all the witnesses I had to chase before, you're one of the fastest." He muttered while staring at Minhee's legs. The bottom of her pants were rolled up. Multiple red scars were seen on her limbs.
The scars that formed on the girl's legs were from her attempt to run away from him. She scraped her legs against the tress and the concrete which had also formed bruises on her skin. Beomgyu did feel some sort of pity for the girl knowing how it felt to run away from a bad person, but he had to hide it because he had became a criminal himself.
"Did the Choi Beomgyu just praise me about my running skills? Oh how flattered I am." Minhee positioned her hand into a fan like position applying air to her face. Deep down inside, she felt a pain that sprinted all over her body as she stared at the male beside her. 'Isn't this too soon to be feeling this pain? I took my medicine today, right?' She tried to make herself remember.
"I can flatter you more when we get there-" Beomgyu's voice became quiet as he was interrupted by two voices that overlapped in his earpiece to which caused aloud ringing and his hearing to shorten at their booming voices. "What are you doing here?" One voice questioned to which they were unaware of Beomgyu being able to hear them. "Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-" The singing of a familiar song was heard from the other voice in the earpiece.
"Stop dancing would you? I need to focus!" The same voice from before scolded the second one in frustration as they were becoming annoyed at the person whom decided to sing while they were working. Beomgyu recognized those voices belonging to both Soobin and Yeonjun.
Pressing on his earpiece to reply to the two, he muttered "Could you guys just like quiet down, there's this loud ringing and it's becoming really annoying, thank you."
Silence was what could be heard for a few seconds until a voice spoke up, "Nuh-uh it's Soobin who's creating that loud noise-" Yeonjun tried to explain only for him to get cut off. "I just wanted some bread so I came singing the dolphin song. What wrong with that!?' Soobin interjected.
