Big Gino was looking over F.O.W.L.'s achievements in the past few weeks.He couldn't help but be proud.Those pesky kids were no longer all chummy with each other thanks to Negaduck.The cousins weren't talking to each other thanks to Steelbeak, and Walt.Scrooge was losing more, and more of his company thanks to John D. Rockerduck.
But there were three people who hadn't fulfilled their missions.Phantom Blot,Pepper, and Don Krange.They were supposed to get The Ark of the Covenant, and if they desire to,the rest of the Knight Templers' treasure.But they have yet to deliver.Big Gino decided to call Don Krange.
"Don Krange!What's the hold up?"Big Gino asked when Don Krange answered the phone.
"Do you want this done right, or done quickly?Because if is done quickly,mistakes will be made!"Don Krange responded.Although he would not say it out loud,Big Gino knew he was right.F.O.W.L. could not afford mistakes.
"Well,are you almost done?"
"There are only two obstacles in our way.Fergus, and Downy McDuck."
"That's it?Why didn't you say so?I'll send Negaduck."said Big Gino before hanging up.

"Okay,what's the problem?"asked Negaduck when he meet up with Don Krange,Phantom Blot, and Pepper.
"We know how to get in, but I know from experience that Fergus, and Downy will notice if I take away the mist surrounding the castle."explained Phantom Blot.
"I'll take care of it.You all do your thing."said Negaduck taking out his chainsaw.The other three F.O.W.L. agents looked shocked, and went towards the McDuck family cemetery.
Negaduck went towards the front door of the castle, and knocked on the door.
"This is going to be fun."said Negaduck,starting up his chainsaw.
"Hello?"asked Downy when she answered the door,only for her voice to turn into a scream.

"Okay,we can sneak into the castle's dungeons through Sir Swamphole's grave."said Don Krange.Don Krange,Phantom Blot, and Pepper were at Sir Swamphole's grave.There was a stone on top of it.
"We might need to move it."said Don Krange.Don Krange, and Phantom Blot moved it.The moved stone reveled stairs.
"Secret passage!" said Pepper in excitement.The F.O.W.L. trio went down the stairs.
"There's supposed to be puzzles that guard the Knight Templers' treasure."said Don Krange.
"Oooo."said Pepper. "I'm good at puzzles!"
"There more like mind teasers."
"I'm good at those too!"
Pepper was right.She was good at puzzles, and mind teasers, as the F.O.W.L. trio managed to get to the chamber where the Knight Templers' treasure was hidden in almost no time at all.
"Look at this."said Phantom Blot.He didn't know what to do.He had heard that the Ark of the Covenant had some magical properties,but those were just rumors.But the other treasures?
"Isn't it amazing?" said Don Krange,who ran towards the gold coins, and threw them up in the air.
"Look!A crown!"said Pepper putting on a crown she just found.
"We're here for the Ark."Phantom Blot reminded Don Krange, and Pepper.
"Oh,right."said Pepper.
"But the treasure-"said Don Krange.
"We'll take the Ark first,then take the treasure."said Phantom Blot.
Which is what they did,but it wasn't easy.There was a lot of treasure, and most of it was heavy.But they eventually did get all the treasure out of the McDuck Castle dungeons.
"Now,to get rid of those magical mists."said Phantom Blot.
"And I'll call somebody to come get us.I'm sure that Big Gino will be very proud of us."said a new voice.The F.O.W.L. trio turned around and,screamed in shock.
It was Negaduck, and he,like his chainsaw, was covered in blood.
"What?This is what happens when you kill somebody up close!"said Negaduck.The other three looked at each other.

Matilda's latest business venture had failed.But that was fine,while she came up with a new business idea she'll stay with her parents.Unfortunately,when she got there,something was very wrong.
The mists that surrounded the castle were gone.Matilda wasn't sure if she should get out of the car.This wasn't the first time the mists disappeared.But this time,the door was open.Matilda made up her mind on what to do.
"Ludwig."said Matilda when Ludwig picked up the phone.
"Hello,Matilda!How are you?How are your parents?"asked Ludwig.
"I need you to come to here."
"Why?What's wrong?"
"I don't know. I just have a feeling that something's wrong."
"Okay,Matilda.Just stay where you are.I'll be there as soon as I can."

It seemed like forever in Matilda's mind, but it really wasn't.It was about a hour, and a half.
"Ludwig!"said Matilda when she saw him.
"You didn't even leave the car?"asked Ludwig.This had to be serious.Ludwig walked towards the open door of the castle.What he saw horrified him.
There was blood everywhere.Downy's blood.But where was Fergus?Ludwig couldn't just step over her.He had a bad feeling that,whoever killed Downy,also killed Fergus.In the same brutal matter.
Ludwig ran towards Matilda.He had to tell her.Scrooge, and Hortense also had to know.But he had to make sure he broke the news gently.
"Matilda.Call Scrooge.Call Hortense."said Ludwig.
"Is Mom, and Dad alright?"asked Matilda.Ludwig didn't say anything.He knew a lot of things, but not how to tell his wife that her mother, and probably her father were dead.Even worse,they were murdered.
"Oh,Ludwig!" cried Matilda as she clinched on to Ludwig.Matilda didn't need Ludwig to tell her that her parents were murdered.She had a feeling.Ludwig was right.Matilda needed to tell Scrooge, and Hortense.

Even though it was obvious by Ludwig's voice that Downy, and Fergus were murdered,the sight still horrified the last of Clan McDuck.None of them said anything.
"This is your fault Matilda!" Scrooge said suddenly.
"What?" said Matilda, and Ludwig together.It was bad enough that she was the first McDuck sibling at the scene of the crime, but to accuse her of wrongdoing?
"Your always going on about 'taking care of Mum, and Dad'!Where were you when all this was happening!?"
"I didn't know this was going to happen!"said Matilda.
"And if she was here the murderer would of killed her too!"pointed out Ludwig.
"And speaking of 'going on about',what about you going on about being the richest duck in the world?"asked Hortense. "And how important family is to you?"
"Family is important to me!" insisted Scrooge.
"No it isn't!" yelled Matilda. "Gladstone told me about how you,Donald, and the kids left him behind in Macaw after saving him from that luck vampire."
"He's lucky we came to save him at all!"Scrooge yelled back.
"You clearly play favorites!"
"I do not!"
"Oh yeah?!"asked Hortense. "What about you building the Spear of Selene for Della? Donald said it was a bad idea, but you built it anyway!"
"She was the one who took it!"
"Because you built it! You don't care about family! All you care about money, and adventure!Adventure, and money!"
"That's not true!Family is very important to me!"
"You sure have a funny way of showing it."Matilda said. "Leaving Gladstone behind in Macaw after dealing with that luck vampire."
"Building the Spear of Selene despite Donald saying it was too dangerous."added Hortense.
"Which it was.Look what the outcome was.The moon invading.F.O.W.L. coming after the family.Those things wouldn't of happened if listen to Donald."
"What are you saying?I'm a menace to the family?"Scrooge asked his sisters.
"No."said Matilda,realizing that she, and Hortense may have gone too far.
"No,that you have a massive ego, and only care about those who have the same mentality as you!"Hortense yelled back at Scrooge.
Ludwig left to find Fergus's body.The argument wasn't going to end well.It reminded him of the argument that the kids had after Louie disappeared.
Could there be a connection?Just because Louie disappeared didn't mean he was dead.But why would somebody kidnap Louie?Then again,why would somebody kill his in-laws?Something was off.But all he knew was,somebody,or something was determined to tear the family apart.And worse,whoever,or whatever they were,were clearly winning.
Ludwig did find Fergus's dead body.Not that it was hard.There was blood everywhere.Perhaps the knowledge that both of their parents were confirmed dead would cause the argument to stop.
But he was wrong.By the time he returned the three McDuck siblings wanted nothing to do with other.

"So,we finally have the Ark of the Covenant."said Big Gino as he rubbed it with his hand. "The most powerful artifact in the world."
"And the Knight Templers' treasure."added Don Krange.
"Oh,that's fantastic.Because somebody's stealing the companies that we're stealing from Scrooge!"
