"Sorry about last night." You mutter, sitting in front of Sanzu at breakfast. "Alcohol makes me kind of crazy."

"Kind of?" Sanzu chuckles, shaking his head at you. "Sorry about your phone too. We can buy a better one later."

"What do you mean by we?" You slowly spoke, hoping that you didn't get him wrong. "Like me and you going somewhere...together?"

"Yeah...? Why do  you sound so surprised?" He leans back, furrowing his eyebrows. "We used to shop together, right?"

"No, we didn't." You mutter. "Thinking about it now, we barely ever got to spend time together with just us two."

You kept your eyes down on your now empty plate, feeling the awkwardness in the air or maybe it's just you. A dull ache in your chest appeared as you remembered the years you spent with him. You two started out more like enemies or just two people who disliked each other.

You could still remember the first day you met him. At that time, you weren't even aware that he was part of Toman. Back then, he had shorter hair and a different hairstyle too and that was before he wore a mask.

Sanzu gave other captains a lot of trouble and would often fight gangs on his own, getting beat up in the process. Mikey would eventually step in to save him but there were times that no one would come for him. It didn't bother Sanzu, though. He could handle fights on his own and he didn't need back up.

"Hey, you got a lighter?"

You turn your head to the guy with peculiar scars and long lashes, those were the first features you noticed. Without thinking much about it, you took out your lighter and he immediately placed a cigarette stick in between his lips. He leaned towards you and motioned for you to light up the cancer stick to which you did.

Putting the lighter back in your pocket, you watch him blow smoke like he has been doing it for years. He didn't look much older than you so he shouldn't be even smoking but you minded your own business, not wanting to come off as a nosy bitch.

"What the fuck are you staring at?" He snarls, his eyes looking dead and empty. "You're making fun of my scars in your head, aren't you?"

At his words, you stare at his scars for a few seconds and tilted your head. You were kind of curious how he got them and why they were shaped like that but judging by his tone, it wouldn't be nice of you to ask questions about them.

"No, I like them actually." You spoke nonchalantly. "But I was actually looking at that stick your holding, not your scars."

"Stick? You mean this cigarette stick?" He blows the smoke away from you and even waved it off with a hand. "What about it?"

"Nothing." You pursed your lips and look into his eyes, getting lost in them for a second or two. "You have pretty eyes, by the way."

"You're....." He shakes his head. "Whatever, bye."

"Wait." You grab his forearm and pulled him back, pointing to the back of his head. "You're bleeding."

"So? It's none of your business!" He hissed and pulls his arm away. "This is why I don't talk to girls, they start to get clingy as soon as you give them a little attention!"

You sigh and pulled his forearm again, bringing up your other hand to slap his mouth. The guy's body froze and he stared at you with wide eyes, not believing what you just did to him.
