“Tom!” He cried out. “Help! The fox is trying to take me!” No response. Eduardo kept running until he heard footsteps.

“Eduardo!” Tom called out. They met up by a tree as they tried to catch their breaths.

“Tom! We have to hide, the fox won’t stop until I’m caught.”

“I know where. Follow me!” Tom grabbed Eduardo’s hand and started running. Eduardo noticed Tom’s grip felt a little tight and he asked him to loosen his hand.

“Gee, Tom!” He exclaimed. “Could you at least ease up on the hand?” Tom either ignored or didn’t hear him. Finally, they made it to an old abandoned mine. Eduardo had doubts of hiding in there, but Tom was persistent as he nudged him in.

“We don’t have time, let’s go!” He said, sounding rather agitated as his voice raised. Eduardo felt uneasy now.

“Okay, okay, I’m going!” He said submissively. The mine soon became dark as light slowly faded away until there was nothing.
