Chapter 3

* It's a sunny warm morning, and Vaira is sleeping peacefully in her bed. That was until Sam walks into her room singing*

" Vairaaaa! It is time to get up, and help me deliver all this meat!" Sam happily walks to her bed, and removes the covers to reveal a sleepy Vaira. " Daddy, a few more minutes." She yawns trying to find her covers. " Nope! Come on let's go. I want this meat gone before dinner." Sam says walking out of her room.
* After a while Vaira makes herself get out of bed, and start to get dressed. She grabbed her bag, the meat, and her knife as she walked out her door making her way to the town.*

" Hello Mrs. Johnson. I have your wild rabbit." Varia grabbed the meat with both hands, and handed to the lady. " Oh thank you so much little Vaira. How much will that be?" Mrs. Johnson asked taking out her money. " Thirteen, but ten for you Mrs. Johnson." Vaira winked. " Oh that's so sweet. Here you go dear." Mrs. Johnson headed the money to Vaira, and then took her meat.

" Thank you, I'll see you next time." Vaira waved goodbye. " Mr. Bee!" Varia yelled into the book store. " Mr. Bee, I have your fish!" She yelled again a bit louder. " Mr. Bee?" She said quietly. " Ms. Varia, your here!" Mr. Bee yelled. " Oh my! You scared me." Varia laughed.

" Oh! Sorry about that dear I didn't hear you, but I heard you have my fish?" Mr. Bee said with a big smile. " Indeed I do! Here you are that would be eight, please." Vaira said handing Mr. Bee his fish. " Eight, Eight Eight...ah-ha! I found eight. Hehe I almost thought I would go crazy there." Mr. Bee laughed taking his fish, and giving Varia the money.

" Oh Mr. Bee, you are already crazy." Varia said walking away. " Oh, yeah!" Mr. Bee started to laugh loudly.

* Vaira laughs at Mr.Bee's craziness before walking up to the next customer*

" Hi Ms. Rose, here's your deer. My father made sure it was only the best part of the animal." Viara explained. " Oh good, being an actress is hard work without good meat." Ms. Rose happily gives Vaira the fifteen for the deer.

"Thanks Ms. Rose, I'll see you around." "Wait Vaira, you think the prince is interested in actresses?" Ms. Rose asked. " I think he is going to be married." Viara replied. " What? What have you've heard?" Ms. Rose asked curiously. " I've heard nothing, but I am just assuming that he'll be married to a princess, or is going to be." Varia explained. " But do you think he'll have to marry a princess?" Ms. Rose gets close to Vaira's face. " Ahh, I am not sure. I need to go Ms. Rose, goodbye." Viara speed walks away from Ms. Rose.

* As Vaira was about to slow down a knight stands on a box holding a small letter*

" Ladies, and gentleman! I am here to give you some news from the King. He wishes to say that tomorrow afternoon there will be a a battle, and whoever wins this battle will be given wealth. There will be more details in the flyers."

* Another knight holds a stack of papers handing everyone a flyer. The knight walks up to Vaira giving her a flyer before walking away.*

" What in the world is he doing now" Viara asked herself.

* Vaira finishes her deliveries, and runs home to her father. *

" Father!" Varia yells running into the door. "Father look at this," Varia hands Sam the flyer.

* Sam takes the flyer and starts to read. As he continues to read his eyes began to go wide.*

" You want to do this?" Sam asked looking confused. " I don't know, we do need the money." Varia replied. " Oh that's what you mean." Sam made a small laugh giving the flyer back to Vaira. " What else would I mean?" She asked taking the flyer back. " Oh nothing. Well, let me think for a minute. You really think we need the money?" Sam asked cleaning the table.

" Well yeah, I think we do." Varia said unsure of herself. " What I think you are trying to say is 'we don't need the money, but I want to do something fun'" Sam laughed at his impression of Varia's voice.

"Daddy I am being serious here!" Varia punched her father's arm. " Okay Okay, I am sorry. Well, I think you should do it." He joyfully said. " You really think so?" Varia asked surprised

" Yes, I really do think so. If it's going to get you out there in the world then...yes, do it." Sam says rubbing Varia's back. " Ooh, okay. I'll do it because you told me to." Varia laughed. " Haha, okay. Now let's eat, I bet you are hungry from running around all day.

* Varia and Sam start to eat enjoying their night. We move to the prince who sits outside in his garden*

" What am I doing?" He asked himself. " I can't fight no Dark King! I can barely fight five guards at once." Lucia put his face in his hands. " What type of prince am I? I can't even save my princess by myself." Lucia cried out.

" You are a normal prince, Lucia." The queen says walking up to him. " Being scared is normal there is no shame in it." She explained sitting next to him. " But mother I am the one who shouldn't be scared! If the princess sees that I'm frightened then she'll be too, and no one wants that." Lucia angrily gets up from his sit.

" My boy, you worry too much, and I am angry with your father putting so much pressure on you since you were a baby." They both stayed silent. " I am also mad at myself for letting him do so, but don't beat yourself up." The queen stands walking up to her son. " I already feel like I disappoint to father because I need someone to help me save the princess. How embarrassing." Lucia rubs his head.

* The queen takes her son's head and faces him to her.*

" Listen to me Lucia, you are a brave prince and never let anyone tell you otherwise. Never be embarrassed to have a little help." The queen looked at her son before placing a kiss on his forehead.

* The queen let go of Lucia, and walked back into the kingdom.*

" I promise mother."
