Chapter 4

" This seems like the place." Vaira looks at the yellow door that lead to the battle field.

* Vaira takes a small glance at the flyer, before walking to the lage yellow door. When Vaira opens the door she was met with hundreds of men with weapons practicing their moves.*

" Oh my, that's a lot of people." She says to herself walking into the door. " Excuse me Miss, but you are not aloud to be here." Said a tall knight stopping Vaira from walking any further. " Why is that?" Vaira asked. "Well, this area for fighters only, and we don't aloud ladies in."

The knight explained. "Well, the flyer said nothing about needing to be a man to fight. It says ' If you wish to join then come to the yellow door' and that's exactly what I did." Vaira said holding up the flyer.

" Yeah, But-but we didn't think any ladies would want to join." The knight stuttered. "Well, that's too late now. I would be more happy then to talk to the King about it if you really think it's a problem." Vaira starts to walk away, but then gets stopped by the knight again. " Wait there is no need to do that. Please, come on in. Everyone is welcome to join." The knight nervously said. "Thank you very much, sir!"

* Vaira walks around the area looking at all the different types of men, as well as ignoring thier judgmental stares.*

" Alright men, the fight will start soon. Have your weapons ready for battle" Said a knight before walking away. " Hey girly, don't cry out there." Said a man behind Vaira

* She ignored the comment of the man. For her father always said " Never let mean words affect your emotions and how you think of yourself" and she took that to heart*

* One by one everyone started walking out to the battle field. When Vaira walked out the audiences gasped*

( Song "A Strange Girl" plays)

Lady 1: Who might that girl be in the battle?

Man 1: Is she lost some how?

Lady 2: I think she is going to be fighting!

The audience: Fighting!?

Little boy: But that can't be, girls can't fight

Little girl: Girls can to fight!

Man 2: Oh boy oh boy, she is a strange girlll

" Ladies and gentlemen as your King I am happy to say that the battle has began!" The King says happily.

Lady 1: Oh no, the strange girl is going to be killed!

* Vaira gets into a her fighting position. Reminding herself not to kill the men*

Little girl: Look at the way she is fightinggg!

The audience: Huh?

* The audience goes silent as the see Vaira fighting the men with only her hands. The first man she kicks his weapon out of his hand before kicking the side of his face knocking him out cold. The second man run up to Vaira with a knife, but before he could get the chance to stab her she stops him. Taking his hand into a twist behind his back, hitting his head on her knee.*
