Man's life is brief. Of one compares man to the vast universe I. Which he lives, he only figures as a drifting lonely speck whose span of life is a mere infinitesimal fraction in eternity .
Nevertheless, man has within his reach ymthe ability to contact the eternal source of power, to comprehend the universe and to harmonise himself with it. He is able to identify with this tremendous power and thus derive the ability to initiate events, affect other beings and be effected in turn. He can learn from the past, manipulate the present, and plan for the future. He can draw from this inexhaustible power the energy he needs to react to and control matter and events. And as long as he continues to bind himself to this eternal source of power ,man can enlarge his capabilities
