"Come on Sophie, it's time to go your Granny's house!" implied Sophie's mum. Sophie walked rushingly over to her oak dressing table which was covered in pretty polariod photos of her and her friends Molly and Lucy. Purple star fairy lights were draped over her vintage white mirror she furaly enjoyed decorating her room in a teenage/ hipster theme and it looked wonderful. She reached out for her satchural, then grapped her phone, notebook, pens, pencils, camera and her book for the evedent boredom of her grandmothers slightly non-modern house.
Once she had her bag ready she walked through her room, down the stairs and out of the door. "Right darling, you're sitting next to Ralph in the back and your father and i will be in the front!" explained Sophie's mum. Ralph was Sophie's horrid brother who she completely dispised. As Sophie was forced to sit next to a 9 year old devil.
Sophie pulled out her phone from her soft bag. As she turned it on her brother said "What, checking on your imaginary boyfriend are we?" "No actually! Have you maneged to become the boyfriend of that girl you liked? What was her name...... oh yes Vicky?" Ralph went silent and murmered to himself. Sophie looked at her phone there was a text but it was not from her "boyfriend" it was from her best friend Claire.
"Hi Soph! Can I come over to yours later? There's something very exciting that i MUST tell you!!!" Sophie smiled then send a text back reading: "Of course! I'm going to my granny's for lunch then I'll be at home at about 4:30!" Claire sent a text back: "Brill see ya then! xxxx"
Sophie strangely enjoyed the smooth journey. She looked out of her window and thought of all the good times that she had had with Claire in the past. Claire, was a beautiful brunet with a passion for boys. Sophie however, was constantly dreaming about Draco Malfoy and Ron Weasley from Harry Potter. Whilst Claire would snog boys in elevators, Sophie would write page after page of fan fiction about some "romantic" couple.
Sophie was too busy fantasising about boys that she failed to notice where they were. The family had pulled up into the drive of their Granny Rose's house. Ironically, the cottage was covered in pink and white roses.
Granny rushed out of the house happily. "Sophie, Ralph, Henry, Betty come in, come in!"
