The girl you see in a space
People told her she’s a mess
For being pregnant at a young age
I’ll tell you she was raped and abused
Forgive her if she always feel confuse
The girl you see eating at the bus stop
People told her she’s fat
For years she was anorexic
I’ll tell you, for her it was very traumatic
Forgive her if you think she’s a freak
The girl you caught in a damp
People told her she’s a dumb
She failed exams, no one believe her she’s sick
I’ll tell you she is dyslexic
Forgive her if her life is bleak
The girl you notice at night in short dress
People told her she’s hopeless
For being a prostitute and loser
I’ll tell you, she’s a breadwinner
Forgive her if most of the time she totters.
The black girl with curly hair you thought insane
People discriminate her and blame
For being in a different pigmented skin
I’ll tell you she’s really good every time she sing
Forgive her if you think in this society she’ll never be in.
The bald girl in the front porch sitting idly
People told her she’s ugly
For being a hairless teenager
I’ll tell you she survived cancer
Forgive her if compare to you, she’s much stronger.
The girls you’ve heard before
People bring them down even more
But the fact is they never even protest
For surviving life’s challenges
I’ll tell you how rare and precious is their smile
So forgive them if they want to cry
