A Snake At Switch

:Chapter 3:

Quickly, Snape pulled out of the fuzzy memory, his glazed eyes came in contact with enraged amber gold silted eyes.

"Prey... tell me why you were sssnooping in my memoryssss Sseverus.." Harrys tone of voice  had a tint of feminine to its silky hiss of lisp, but it went unnoticed as it startled Snape. He quickly bowed not wanting to be rude to the intruder.

"My lord, my complete apology." Snape tried to make his tone even, but his body shuddered slightly as a snaky laughter slipped out of Harry's mouth.

"My lord? Sserverusss. I'm not my masster" Nagini smirked, glared up at the potion master.

"Your- your not? Then how-" Snape frowned as he fumbled over his words, confused, very confused. 

Sitting up and off the chair that she was sitting on, Nagini's eyes flashed that of the brightest emerald as her form shifted into a long thick figure that of a pipe, a feathery plumage sprouted from her head, round nubs on her back grew onto her back and the scales that flashed its original black with an tint of green but then to a muddy dark green with a shimmer of black, the large plumage retracted back into her scales along with the lumps. As all that was happening, her vibrant golden gaze blazed brightly as she looked down at Snape. 

Nagini was raised tall and proud over Snape.

"~Does thissssss jog your memory'sssss?~" she hissed needle like fangs flexed out. Snape paled- not like that was very noticeable anyways in the dim lighten room.

"N-Nagini..." Staring wide eyes, mortified as to how the snake could had gotten to Harry so quickly with out no one noticing. 

Circling around Snape like a hungry shark, she drifted up to Snape's ear as she shifted back. Her eyes bled green for a moment before glowing gold with excitement as she leaned in, uncomfortable closer on Snape's shoulder as she whispered "You need not to worry Sserverusss, I'll not tell my Massster- yet" the last part was whispered as her eyes drifted to his. Though the uncomfortable situation, he didn't want to push the copy of Potter off of him for being in close proximity of him as he didn't want to see what Nagini would do to him- so he let her be for the time being 'till she grows tired of him.

"How can you do it? Speak English that is..." Nagini looked back at Snape with a head tilt. Snape seemly gained a glaze to his skin. She narrow her eyes as she pushed Snape down onto the chair she once occupied.

"Harry." She answered simply. "...And the memory'sss that I've gained when transsferring into hisss body. But master sspeaksss it to me asss well." She explained with a shrug.

Nagini bit her lip as she stepped away from the man. "It feels good to talk to someone other than master" She looks around before going back to the man and leaning over him clutching the chairs arms  "Ussse thisss againssst my hatchling and I will make you my persssonal lunch." She narrowed her eyes again before she frowned suddenly "You want to protect him right... Mothersss orderss.." Nagini smirked as she saw Snapes eyes widen.

"How do you-"

"Massster tellss me everything... But I wass sspying on the hatchling from the garden, usse to play with him ssometimes you sssee. But one night, when I was checking up with my hatchling, I decided to check in with the parentsss alssso." She gave a casual shrug before smirking "What I wassn't expecting was for you to floo into the housse to talk with my hatchlingsss mother." She smiled when she saw Snapes eyes widen even more "- Vowing that if anything happenss to them, that you protect him along sside Black." 

Snape glared slightly at her. "And what are you going to do with that information?"

Nagini looked simply at Severus and smiled softly "Nothing. I kept thiss from my masster asss long asss I can remember. He never knew where I went off to when I asssked to go out, just assuming that I went out to hunt." She then turned her head to the entrance of the lab "Jusst, when I'm not here. Protect and look out for him when I'm not." She asked before turning back to Snape patting his shoulder, her eyes glow brightly as she trotted out of the dungeons.
