chapter 08

[ Ryan's pov ]

{ sotc : you shook me all night - ac/dc }

TODAY WAS A new day, and we were all at the airport. for the whole day, i tried to avoid dean, because of what happened last night. while i was sitting down on the chair, waiting for our flight, i was imagining what it's gonna be like in hollywood, since i've never been there before.

as i was sitting down with my train of thoughts running through my head, someone called my name. i looked over to see guy and ken standing up. "you wanna come get something to eat ?" guy asked

"what kind of question is that ?" i joked as i got up

we were all walking towards the food court to get something to eat. the next thing you know it, dean and fulton magically appeared next to us. what the hell are they doing here? i asked myself. i continued to ignore them, and continued walking.

ONCE WE GOT to the food court, we all agreed to meet up, where we left.

once we all split up, i was debating on what to eat. i didn't know weather I wanted subway or kfc. so as a normal human being, i ended up choosing subway. once i got to the waiting line, dean magically appeared next to me. "good choice" he said

"go away" i said as i playfully rolled my eyes

once we started ordering, a cute fijian looking boy was working at the register. as dean and i were looking at the menu, the fijian was just waiting there patiently. i then finished choosing which sandwich i wanted, but of course, dean was still looking. "hi, sorry for the long wait" i started

"it's okay, what would you like ?" he asked me

"i would like a roasted chicken sub" i answered

"and for you, sir ?" he asked

i then turned to dean, and he was still looking for his order. so as the smarter enforcer, i hit him in his stomach. he then flinched his head back at me as i was pointing to the fijian boy.

"oh, sorry, i'd like the same as her" he said

"alright, your order will be ready shortly" he said

"thank yo-"

"and may i say, youse are a very cute couple" he said

"oh sorry, we're actually not.. a couple" i said

"oh, then he wouldn't mind if i asked for your number ?" he asked

i then turned to dean and he just kept his head at the other direction. i assumed he was looking at a girl, so i said yes.

[ Dean's pov ]

WHILE RYAN AND i were ordering our food, the guy working at the register asked for her number. and she said yes!. i didn't know why but i was just so mad when that happened, so all i could do was just look away.

after we finished getting our food, we then walked back to where we all started. i didn't really say anything until we got back.

once we did, i was walking next to fulton as ryan caught up with guy and ken. while we were walking all i did was just stare at her. then fulton just snapped me out of it. "bro, are you okay ?" he asked

"what ? oh yeah" i replied

"you sure ? cause you were looking at ryan the whole time" he said

"what ? no ! why would i ? she's weird" i replied

"yeaaahhhh, maybe you're just the weird one" he said

"no, she is" i replied

"not gonna lie, but i feel like youse would be a great couple" he complimented

"you think ?!" i exclaimed with a small smile

"you like her." he stated

"no. i. don't." I said

"you always get excited whenever someone says something that pleases you" he said

after he said that to me, all i did was give him a light punch as i rolled my eyes.

[ Ryan's pov ]

ONCE WE GOT back to the team, they were now heading onto the plane. luckily we all finished our food before we got there. so we all ran to our bags and once we grabbed them, we went on the plane.

once we got on there, we all had assigned seats. i got put on the left, and then i assumed that nobody was sitting next to me, since no one sat there. while i was walking towards my seat, i then saw guy sitting next to the window. at first i was confused, then i was happy, so i can have a person to judge my drawing.

once i sat down, i felt someone come sit next to me. i turned my head to see who it was, and it's the most annoying person ever. dean. "hey dean" guy said

"hey guy" he replied

i just ignored him and started to draw in my book. i could feel dean put his arm around my shoulder and lean forwards. "what do you need ?" i asked

"just wanted to see what you were doing" he replied

"im doing your mum" i laughed

"and soon im gonna be doing you" he replied

"you stole my joke, loser" i said

"and what are you gonna do about that ? huh, ryan the rude guy" he joked

"never knew you came with nicknames" i said

"I come with everything" he replied

"okay then, dean the mean bean" i laughed

"woowww, a bean" he replied as he rolled his eyes

[ Dean's pov ]

AFTER AN HOUR, ryan fell asleep while listening to the notorious b.i.g. once she fell asleep, she accidentally dropped her book. so the nice person i was, i picked it up. as i picked it up i saw one of her drawings. it was a drawing of a little boy, so i assumed it was her brother. i then felt someone lean against my shoulder. it was ryan.

i then slowly grabbed her pencil. once i got it, i then started drawing her.

ONCE I FINISHED drawing her, i then placed her book back down. i then noticed that someone was looking at me. i looked up and it was guy. "what?" i asked

"you like her.. don't you ?" he asked

i then slowly got up to check if anyone was awake. luckily our whole team was sleeping.

i didn't wanna admit it to him, but maybe i do. but i don't know why. it's just whenever i see her or hear her, she just makes me wanna scream.. but in a good way. i then looked back to guy and nodded my head.

"i'll try to get her to see if she likes anyone" guy replied

"thanks" i thanked

i then went back to listening to AC/DC while leaning my head on ryan's head. it was kind of nice getting that off my chest. i just find it weird, because i've never actually liked liked someone back in chicago. i just always played with their feelings. so having these real feelings for ryan were so different for me.
