-I Think it Worked.-

I immediately sat up, to the sound of crashing. Oh my..what's going on? Did I drift off onto my thoughts? How long had I been laying here? Well those are questions for later, what in the world is going on? I immediately sat up, terrified. I started to run throughout the hallway, and immediately passed a window. I glanced out of it, expecting to see metros or asteroids coming full speed into my ship..but no.

I saw another ship, much larger than mine, and very close. It..it worked. My signal..it worked! I did not realize how close I was to another ship! This is great-..but what about the people on the alien ship? Oh dear, I should've considered that first. These are complete strangers. People I have never seen or heard of before, and I just summoned them before me. What if they are dangerous? What if they want to harm me?..What if something bad happens? I need to get to safety quickly..just for a little while. I must determine wither they have the right intentions..or interests.

I rushed into my bedroom, closing the door for the most part, but keeping a small crack open to look out of. It would be nice to get a proper visual..actually..what will they look like? I have seen many people in my life, so many people..so I have seen a lot of diversity. Maybe they would be pretty? Or ugly? Well..not all ugly people are bad! I'm not so nice-looking either..I'm fatter than I should be, and I have a round face. All of the most beautiful people I have seen have a slim and long face, meanwhile mine looks like a ball. I wonder how they'll act, especially upon seeing me. Again, they could hurt me..they look intelligent as well, especially with that large ship. Maybe they are not though..maybe they are kind and want to help others. Perhaps they will even give me a chance!

That's all I want really..a chance to make friends. That's what I intended, that was why I sent out the S.O.S signal. If they are actually kind and have no bad intentions, maybe we could share some tea? I hope they like tea, because I live off of it. Well still..I am shocked it actually worked, even more so since it took these people barley any time to revive it, and makes me even more surprised they arrive so quickly. How long did it take them to get here? I have lost track of time at this point. Did it take them five minutes? An hour? A day? A week? Was I laying on that floor for a whole month? My goodness..how long did I daydream for?

Suddenly, there was the sounds of bustling in the ship and conversation, which knocked me out of my thoughts. They spoke english, which is lovely because it's the language I'm best in. They seemed to be speaking in hushed and quiet tones, like they were trying to get past security while they were inside the building. Even I, with my large ears, couldn't hear them very well. That's when I realized..oh no..oh no oh no..I don't have my sword. I need my sword, in case they're dangerous. I left it in the living room while I was reading a book from the observatory. I must retrieve my sword immediately! What if they steal it? Oh my this is bad..but there is no time to just stand here and wait!

I steadily opened the door, looked both ways, and scurried out. I frantically ran throughout the hallway while struggling to be as quiet as I could. I suspected they were all in the control room by now, so that should be far enough for them to not notice me. Finally, I step foot into the nicely decorated living room. Thankfully, nobody was here yet. I quickly ran to the couch, and picked up my sword. I wrapped the sword in my arms, and gave it a hug. I understand it's not the safest thing to do...but this sword is one of the most important things I have left.

The sword itself is very beautifully made. The sword's handle is made with wood from a truffle tree, which got it's name from it's different hues of browns in the bark. It is a very strong tree, which would make it perfect for the handle of a sword that is primarily used for combat and fighting, even wars. Meanwhile, the blade is made strongly too, with a combination of stone and small blue gems mashed together. The gemstones give the blade a sort of bluish hue and a very shiny finish. That's not the only blue in the sword, as my personal favorite property of the sword, is the turquoise imbedded into the wood. It is the final and wonderful finish to a perfect sword.
