five ; first day

" so..grand entrance huh... " beomgyu said as he stifled a laugh, looking at riki who was now tugging onto sooyoung's sleeve, scared about going into his new school. 

" pay up loser! " jayoon exclaimed, putting her hand out with beomgyu slapped a ten dollar note on, rolling his eyes. 

"riki it'll be fine. i'm sure people will like you. " sooyoung comforted as she pushed riki closer to the school gates. " come on, let's go! " jay hyped as he swung his arm around the transfer student, pulling him as they walked into the school gates. 

it will be a lie if riki said it didn't feel like a scene from a kdrama, it was like there was some music playing and somehow there was wind to push their hair back. 

riki thought that it was all his imagination until reality hit him and he saw jayoon and jaeyoon holding fans and a mini speaker. 

" until when are you going to do this? " heeseung groaned in embarrassment as he looked at the twins with a 'what-the-hell' face. "oh shut up heeseung let's make riki's first day as cool as it can be." jaeyoon said, pushing the speed button on the mini electric fan, making the wind even stronger. 

however, the group underestimated the influence of their friend. soon enough, students crowded around the group, or mainly riki, pushing the rest of the friend group who tried their best to protect him. 

"when i said that they'll like you, i didn't think that they'll like you this much! " sooyoung screamed over the shouts of girls and boys, who were all trying to get riki's attention. 

this was all too new for riki. he never expected this. like he was literally crying at the school gate afraid of what people will think of him a few minutes ago. 

struggling through the crowd of people, the seven tried their best to get to the admin office, to get riki's timetable and locker number. 

scanning through his new surroundings, riki's eyes wandered past the crowd of crazy girls and boys, looking further out. 

soon enough, his eyes met with a fox-looking boy, whose eyes literally sparkled, according to him. 

riki felt as if everything had stopped moving, he no longer felt the presence of his friends, or the rest of the students, it was just him and that particular boy. they locked eyes for what felt like a minute, before a shout jolted him out of his trance. 

"riki.. RIKI!" heeseung shouted, making riki turn his head to face his friend. 

"h-huh? " "you were unresponsive for like a good minute. what were you looking at? " 

"i think i just saw the love of my life... " 

" ew love."
