sunoo and jiwoo bid their friends goodbye as they rushed into their chemistry class. the four others had math together, so they were in the classroom beside.
" damn, at least we're here before jaemin. that guy is always late. " jiwoo commented, taking her seat behind sunoo.
" for real though... like boy stop fawning over your boyfriend jeno and get your ass in chem "
" anyways, do you think you'll be without a desk buddy until you graduate? just thought about it since i could always trade mine for an empty seat... " jiwoo asked sunoo as she glared at her desk partner, chenle, who was shouting as he played a game on his phone.
sunoo lightly chuckled before shrugging his shoulders. everyone in the class had a desk partner, but since there was an odd number, sunoo didn't have one.
soon enough, the teacher, mrs lee, came in, and thankfully jaemin had already arrived.
" good morning students. we don't have much time so let's just get started with today's lesson. now, let's start at where we left off, page 67 of your textbook. so last week, we learnt that-"
mrs lee was cut of abruptly by the door opening with a loud slam, revealing a tall figure.
suddenly all eyes were on riki, who was shyly standing at the door frame，sooyoung squeezing behind him and rushing to her seat.
" uhm, good morning? "
as if on cue, the awkward silence soon broke into chaos, as girls and boys started inviting him to sit with them.
" ahem, ahem, students please calm down. and uhm, young man, would you care to introduce yourself? "
" uh oh yeah okay.. uhm.. my name is nishimura riki. i am 18 years old and i like to dance? yes i like to dance and uh... i guess that's it. "
god riki why are you so awkward...
riki internally screamed as he gave an awkward smile.
i hate this...
" thankyou riki. you can sit with kim sunoo. he doesn't have a partner yet so you can sit with him. "
sunoo's eyes widened as he turned around to face jungwon, who just snickered in return.
