The group makes their through the stone passage going deeper and deeper into the quiet hallways. Misty leads the way "now listen from what I have uncovered the item that I seek is in the deepest level". The group reaches a flight of stairs leading down "ok watch yourselves". They head down with only the sound of their footsteps echoing off the walls. As they are walking Rebecca steps on a pressure plate and triggers the stairs to turn into a slide. The group falls down screaming as they plummet down. The slide devids into two where Ashley, Rebecca and misty go to the left and tim goes into the right.
Tim lands into a hallway "ouch that hurt" he gets up and sees no one around "shit how do I always get into these situations "? He starts walking forward scared out of his mind.
The others land into a Similar hallway and get back up. "Oh no where's tim" Ashley starts looking for him and looks up the slide "I am going to try go get him" she turns into her giant slime form and tries to go up but can't get no purchase on the smooth surface "what the why can't I climb up" her body continues sliding down?
Misty exams the slide "this is the work of the dwarfs that serve the God of crafting and building they built many of the homes and other buildings that the gods have used and these dwarfs are very good at what they do".
"So what I am supposed to abandoned him to be by himself " Ashley looks down at Misty?
"Yes but If we move forward we might be able to find him that is our only hope of getting out and finding him and hopefully he continues moving as well" they all continue moving on each not liking the idea of leaving tim by himself.
Tim pulls out a lantern and lights it "Well no point at standing around might as well continue hopefully I will link up with the others". He starts walking into the darkness that is all around him. For hours he walks and starts hearing wind blowing and comes up to a enormous bridge that spans over a chasm "wow even the light can't reach the bottom or other side, well here goes" he starts walking. He walks for a couple hours and takes a break "wow how long is this bridge would of thought I would reach the end by now" He pulls out a piece of dried meat and starts eating.
Below the bridge the lamia is climbing up climbing up the walls on the side tim came from and pulls herself on the bridge. She stops and picks up a smell "a human " she smells the ground and starts following the bridge towards him.
Tim finishes resting and continues walking until he hears something dragging behind him and its getting closer "what the" he then figures its the lamia "shit what to do" he starts looking around for a idea then he sees a ledge on the side and climbs down.
The lamia reaches the spot he climbed down and stops searching for his scent. "Mm where did he go" she then sniffs near the edge and starts fleeing around.
Tim pulls out a knife because he has lack of room to use his sword effectively. Her hand reaches towards him and sticks the knife in her finger.
"Ouch" she sucks her finger "Well human what brings you into my master's domain ".
"Why should I tell you"?!
"Well my little treat I feel like having a conservation its been so long since I talked to someone and who knows maybe if like our conversation I will let you go, now tell me then what's your name "?
"Its tim, yours"?
"Mm I was never given a name other than lamia ".
"Ok how about Emily then"?
She thinks for a moment "ok then now would you answer my question "?
"I am here with someone that is like you that is a guardian searching for information on a demon lord".
