——-——-—— Chapter 2 ——-——-——
Triggers: Attempted rape/sexual assault

It was three in the morning when Noah left the parking lot for a smoke, his mouth full of the irony taste of his own blood that came from either his nose or lip or both. It was way too loud and hot in the building.
Caleb was still inside somewhere; he had asked a few people about the picture but gave up in the end and started to get wasted and Noah didn't blame him for that. No one even had the slightest clue who their child could be. So maybe they really left Akalo, at least that meant that his father would probably not find them.

Noah was sitting on the sidewalk far enough away to be able to ignore the crowd that had gathered around the painted Clove on the parking lot, somewhere in that crowd laid a guy passed out on the ground.
And Noah's bloody knuckles spoke for themselves.
He wasn't necessarily good at fights, not as good as you would expect it from the son of a Mafia lord but still far better than anyone living here. Noah learned incredible fast so he got even better, every time he stood on the black clove.

He wouldn't stop, not until something forced him to. Was the adrenalin he got from it already an addiction? Probably.
Was he aware of that? Definitely.
Could he care less? Not really.
Noah's hair slowly fell out of his bun, right into his face. With a deep sigh he took a deep drag from the cigarette between his fingers and closed his eyes for a split second feeling the smoke fill up his lungs before he exhaled. After several minutes he reached into his back pocket fishing out the copy of the photo he and Caleb had found in the documents.
He studied it with a puzzled expression, there were so many things he couldn't wrap his mind around. But perhaps he wasn't supposed to do that anyways.

Nights in Akalo usually had something calming, the cold breeze of the ocean finally reached them and for the first time in weeks Noah actually felt his skin shivering from the cold sensation.
Soon it was going to be warm again, just in a few hours. When the sun rose again and Noah would realize he waisted a night's sleep once again.

The calming atmosphere was destroyed after just a few seconds.
A loud scream followed by several swears and a noise that sounded much like something or someone crashing into a bunch of cartons and glass caused Noah to look up. Three guys had squared up behind the Clovers, and Noah could only guess that the person that just fell into the cartons would either be found dead in a ditch tomorrow or would wake up in the hospital.

'You fucking bitch!'
He couldn't catch more than a glimpse at was happening: A person being pulled up by their collar and thrown onto the asphalt.
'Shut the fuck up!' followed by several kicks into the persons guts.
He didn't know any of the people, and it wasn't like he cared.
Getting involved with others business was never good, helping the person was the last thing Noah would have ever considered.
Considering the fight was probably about drugs, it might even be for the best if the person felt some violence. He could only guess that it was about money that hasn't been paid yet. The last time he got involved with a junkie he ended up in the hospital with several stab wounds and Caleb had a dangerous overdose and nearly died.

'Hold the fag down.'
Noah didn't consider himself as a saint, that was the last thing he would ever compare himself to. He wasn't a person with a lot of morals either, most people would describe him as an asshole.
But even a person with low morals had their limits. So did Noah.
Even though he didn't like them since he saw them as a weakness.
'don't fucking touch-' the rest of the persons voice was muffled, laughter occurred and Noah slowly got up from the side walk.
He dropped his cigarette and slowly walked towards the little group behind the Clovers.
Without much thought to it he knocked over a piece of wood leaning against the back wall of the supermarket in order to get the attention he wanted.
