Lets go camping!

It's a good Thursday with a month off of school,
The leafs, beautiful birds an-

-RIIINNGG, RIIINNGG-
Shuichis phone vibrated as he was eating cold cereal due to not wanting to make breakfast.
Shuichis eyes were half open, as his hand drooped slowly to pick up the annoyingly loud phone, it had a light grey case, it was a rather nice phone.
Shuichi gapped his mouth getting ready to speak,

"...hello.. shuichi saihara here." He spoke, tiredness draping in his words.

"Hey! Shuichi! Do you know what day it is?"
Kaito exclaimed through the phone, shuichis eyes lit up a bit, still use to the quiet household he was in.

"Uh.. it's Thursday, why?"  Shuichi questioned, kaito also seemed excited and not tired this Thursday.

"You haven't noticed? We're going on a trip with maki roll!" Kaito said once again, if they were going somewhere fun, then shuichi wondered why he wasn't reminded that they were?

"What trip..?" Shuichi looked suspicious towards his phone, even though he knew kaito couldn't see him anyway.

"To a spooky campsite! I'm kinda scared myself but.. eh! I got my sidekick on my side there's no need to worry!" Kaito passionately spoke.

shuichi could tell kaito punched his own chest, he didn't even have to look at him,
Because shuichi already knew him so well.

"A campsite? We are meeting everyone there?" Shuichi asked once again.

"Yeah! Geez man you need to relax once a while I swear, it will be just fine! We're meeting at the arcade place to get picked up by maki."
Kaito reassured Shuichi,
it's as if Shuichi *needed* to go with them.
But he wouldn't leave anyone alone like that, so he guessed he just should go.
"..alright then, I'll go." Shuichi gave in.

"YES! Alright see ya in a few!" Kaito hung up, leavening shuichi to finish his cereal, it was that 'healthy' kind that you would get.
Shuichi picked up his cereal
and cleaned his dish at the sink, opened the dish washer, and put it with the other dirty dishes that were in there already.

Shuichi sighed, and started walking to his room upstairs, he felt a bit lazy today, shuichi didn't like himself for that. But who isn't lazy on the first day of a long month of not having anything to do?

Shuichi started to take off his clothes from shirt to pants, to get into nicer clothes for camping.
Shuichi opened his closet and started to pack up somethings for the car ride, like, a flashlight, guide for camping trips, guide of how to build a tent, a novel, extra clothes, pajamas, lighter, pencils and a pen..

All he needed now was
Something to eat for the ride or just in case he gets lost in a forest for some unspecified reason.

Oh yeah, shuichi also needed a jacket.
So much packing.. but at least he had everything someone like him needed.

Shuichi got up and brought his belongings with him outside, and started to walk to the old arcade that is somehow in business still.
It reminded shuichi of unhealthy thoughts.

Someone he used to know really loved that place. ..what was his name again?

But that's not a thought for camping, shuichi needed to pull himself together. He's going camping, what could go wrong.

Shuichi saw kaito in the distance, he also had a bag with him. Wait, he doesn't have a sleeping bag? Why? Shuichi isn't going to sleep with him. He might as well sleep on the forest ground if that's the case.

As shuichi got closer kaito noticed him.
"Ah! Sidekick!" Kaito excitedly waved to shuichi as shuichi waved back.

"Hi momota-kun. When is hurakawa-San picking us up?" Shuichi asked, kaito just stared bluntly. As if it was a obvious question, but he probably just had no idea.

"Uh.. I don't know. She said she would be here but she didn't give me a time... but what time is it now? Don't you always have a watch on?"
Kaito tilted his head as he looked at shuichis wrist.
In fact shuichi always did have a watch on, he never wanted to loose track of time, shuichi looked at his wrist. '8:25' the watch read.

"It's 8:25. If she's not here now I'd expect her to be here in two hours. Maybe even one to be early." Shuichi replied, makis fast, but maybe even faster when not driving unless she's breaking the law by cutting all the cars in front of her.

"Wow, you're good at this shuichi!" Kaito said, amazed.
Behind kaito was a figure in the distance, as it came closer that person seemed to be keade.
She was running towards the two boys.
As fast as she could, actually.

"*huff* *huff*... I'm.. so.. glad I made it.. *huff*.." keade could barely talk, why was she running so fast? It's not like makis gonna teleport over here. Or maybe she can.

"Ah! Keade! You're here! Didn't really expect it but.. you're here!" Kaito waved his arms, as if he was making a snow angel but in air.

"Heh.. y-yeah... I made it..." keade sat down on the concrete sidewalk. Trying to catch air.

"Keade.. you didn't have to run here.. isn't your house just a block away?" Shuichi suggested, crossing his arms.

"Well, it is.. but.. I slept in on accident.. and I really wanted to come on a awesome trip with everyone!" Keade answered, with a weak tired smile from running.
Sounds like keade. Positive as always.

Shuichi, kaito, and now keade we're in front of the old arcade. Keade noticed it, and looked at both kaito and shuichi.
"...we haven't been to that arcade in a while. Well, unless you guys went there without me.." keade looked at the arcade, glass windows shined at the brand new sun up in the June sky.

"Actually, I haven't. And if I haven't I don't think momota went either." Shuichi averted his eyes to the arcade, it's been months. Actually years to be correct.

They all got interrupted by the car- no camper that stoped in front of them. It was a huge camper, shuichi wondered how much it cost.
Everyone in front of the arcade all looked at the spanking new camper that happened to park there.
The campers door opens, and who stands there is maki hurakawa, our camp trip driver.

HOLY SHIT I WROTE A LOT. Anyway, be ready for more because I'll be posting every other weekend!
