It's crazy of how well things went last night.

You have four thousand dollars that you received in a single night.

It's insane how the bills never end. Your paycheck at the ice cream shop can only do so much.

The thing about life is once one problem is solved now there's another obstacle.

This morning you woke up "late" even if it was the weekend you'd still wake up at around eight or nine in the morning, possibly even ten. Now you literally woke up at noon.

You slept for a little under twelve hours? You tended to oversleep when you're stressed.

You step up and walk to the bathroom.

While on the toilet you unlock your phone.

She was washing dishes.

"I've got something for you."

She turns off the faucet, dryes her wet hands on the dish towel and turns around.

"Wait before you show me whatever you have. Where were you last night?" she had a scary yet concerned look in her eyes "I was exhausted last night and couldn't ask you then."

Yes you were eighteen however you still live with your mom. Her house, her rules.

"I was out with some friends." wasn't a lie.

"Don't lie to me. Who's this friend?" Her eyes are squint.

"My friend Armin."

"I don't know him. Are they 'Just a friend'?"

I love you mom but if you keep acting like this you won't even get money.

"Yes he is."

"I'm going to let it slide for right now. What you got for me?"

You pull out two thousand dollars What's wrong with only giving half?

"Where did you get this!?" her eyes widen with shock.

"I got a night job. Armin's my boss."

"Are you a stripper or prostitute??"

"No. Just helping out his parents and him."

"Oh is it like nursing?"

"Kind of."

"What you mean by 'kind of'?"

Fuck it I'm telling her the truth.

"Basically I go to dinner with him and his parents, pretend to be his girlfriend and he gives me money. Please forgive me."

"Now why would he want to pretend to have a girlfriend?"

"Something about they'll cut him off with money."

"Ok I'mma let it go. You're an adult anyway. Thank you for the money."
