In a week and a half is the inevitable party where you'll have to meet Armins great grandfather. Honestly something you're dreading. Everything you've heard about him was horrible. Whatever. It was just a few hour event. After that you'll be going to college, a stage in life where you assume not only you but Armin will have an ounce of freedom.

You know Armin is an extremely smart boy and after he's finished school he'll be successful.

You furrow your brows, what is he going to do after school is over? It doesn't seem like he wants to run the family business. Even in the office it seemed like he was groomed into running the company. He never seemed happy. Hell you couldn't even remember what he wanted to study. Which is bad on your part.

You call his name, your voice ringing through the closet.  He heard you and is running to your walk-in closet. You have been spending a lot of your time in this room.

"What's wrong?" he asks panting from running up the stairs, hanging on the side of the door.
"Come in here." you say, looking up while patting one of the seats at the vanity like island.
"What is it?" he sits, his chair swivels a bit.
"Just missed you." you say. You didn't want to ask any intrusive questions just yet. And you did miss him. Even if you were in the same house.
"We're in the same h-" you hug him simultaneously cutting him off.
"I know." you tighten your grip on the boy, "What were you studying again?" you say, voice muffled against his clothed toned chest.
"Uh- computer science." you didn't see but he was blushing "but I'm also minoring in English."

"My little nerd." You're rubbing circles on his thigh with your finger.
"You literally almost had an organism when I took you to a comic book store." he chuckles.
"I never said that was a bad thing. I think that's ho-" you cut yourself off, for a reason you honestly don't know.
"You think it's what?"
"It's hot." you raise your head, your chin only part of your face remaining on his chest.
He moves his blue eyes to look at his chest, "It is."

"You'd make a great computer scientist." you praise he immediately frowns.
"Did I do something wrong?" you jump without thinking, you didn't want to make him unhappy.
"You and I both know I can't do that." his ocean eyes are unreadable.
"Why not?" you're pulled away now, "Do you really need to run the company so bad? Hell you could always expand the company so you could follow your passions in life."
His mouth moves to the side, "maybe." he sighs, you could just barely hear his voice.
"Everything will work out." you say, looking deep into his eyes. Your rubbing your thumb on his hand, "I'll stick by your side."

you didn't want to say anything too quickly, hell you were cringing a bit when telling him that. But you truly are and will always be here for him, he did so much for you and you did so much for him, even if you didn't know it yet. Everyday you were with him you felt your heart go at an uncontrollable rate and get butterflies. Everyday you woke up next to the blonde? Butterflies. You don't understand what you were feeling, but holy fuck do you enjoy every little embrace. You just want to be there for him.

You're rummaging through your closet. "Nope." you really don't want to sound like a spoiled and privileged brat but you really can't think nor find anything you'd wear to the event. You two had gotten on the topic and that's what you had the realization that you hadn't picked out anything and now you're here. On the floor, on your hands and knees looking through everything just to find anything. To no avail you haven't found anything it's quite surprising due to how much clothes you have now, but nothing in the closet didn't feel right.

Armin watches your frustrated expression. He looks amused, his finger over his pink lips while the rest of his hand is holding his head, elbow leaning onto the glass vanity.
