Eric called me. What the Hell does he want? He never cared about me, what was he doing it, now?
I left the train and bought a bottle of water in a snack machine.
When I left the train station I didn't see skyscrapers or the Statue of Liberty. I checked the name of the station. I arrived to a conclusion: I was in Bronx, one of the most poor and trouble neighborhood in New York.
I saw a man with suit and tie, he should go to Manhattan so I followed him.
I walked for a while, but the man, instead of going to Manhattan he entered in a old and outworn building.
He left minutes later, I stayed there. The building had a cave with a mattress, I decided stay there for that Night
I landed my stuff and lied down, that cave was really big, it was like a Penthouse but instead of being in the top of the building it was on its down.
I closed my eyes for a while but I wasn't asleep, so, I ate one sandwish and drank a little of water.
Later, I put my headphones on, my cellphone's baterry was in 29 per cent, happily that cave had plugs.
I turned my phone off, and I heard something. Voices. The mattress was behind a big column so the persons who were inside the cave couldn't see me.
I peered, I saw four boys, they were a little far but I guessed that they had more or less my age. They were taking very loud, so I could hear everything they was saying.
- Do you think we should go? - one of them asked, he had spanish accent.
- Of course.
- I don't know, what are we going to do in Manhattan? We don't even have a place to stay.
- Yes we have. My cousin lives there. - the boy with spanish accent talked again.
- Don't you hate your cousin?
-No! My parents hate my uncles and my cousin but me and my siblings don't hate them, we just don't have a close relationship with.
- So, we are going to stay in your uncles' house. Your uncles that you rarely talk, your uncles that your parents hate.
- They don't need to know that we are there. They have a really big house, and Tracy told us that she only needs us for three days. I call my cousin and I think he can keep us for that time.
- What does Tracy want, really?
- Her Science teacher took her cellphone and she wants to get it back.
- Doesn't she have money enough to buy a new one?
- Yes, but her parents don't let her because she was texting at the classes.
- And why does she need our help?
- She knows that we are accustomed to stealing.
- Ok, so we go to Manhattan. The question is: how we arrive there?
- By bus, train, taxi, something.- We don't have money.
- I steal it to my grandpa, I can take some cigarrettes too. And I can told him that we are going in a school trip. You can say the same to your parents.
- Nice. What's your cousin's name, Enzo?
- Chad.
- Can Jordi go with us?
- Why do you want my brother to go with us? - Enzo asked.
- More, better.
- Cool, lets dance.
They turned on a radio with an Eminem's song and they started to dance. Break dance, and wow! They were really good.
Hey! Sorry for the very long time I was without publishing, but it's a bit hard to write in another language and I don't have many ideas. I don't know when I post a new chapter. I hope you understand it's a bit hard. But thanks for reading!
