Chapter 4: Cat cafes and storytimes

Deku woke early, by woke up I mean he stayed up most of the night panicked and only got a few hours of sleep. He dragged himself out of bed and got ready, when he left his room he saw Bakugou pacing and shiggy scratching.

Bakugou had chosen a baggy set of pants and an even bagger hoodie with a bomb on it. Shiggy wore a short sleeved aqua shirt with a controller on it and a pair of tight shorts. Deku had a light green long sleeve shirt and baggy dark green shorts.

Shiggy's pet chinchilla rubbed its head against his free hand, he picked it up and petted it softly. Bakugou pomp barked, whined and tugged at his pants,he stopped pacing, he sat on the floor holding his pup in his lap. Deku's golden retriever nuzzled his hand, its dyed neon green tail softly swinging " It's okay Burokkori, we're just a little worried.".

The dog let out a quiet whine, Deku panicked " No! No! No! It's okay, we're worried because of how amazing today's going to be!" the dog's face brightened, he wagged his tail and barked happily. Bakugou fixed their pets some food. " Nerd, wood shavings, you ready?"

" As I'll ever be, babe." "Don't call me that Bakubitch! Yeah I'm ready." " Burnt Bitch, blood bath, two time and smokey shit, keep an eye on the pets." They went into the darkness, the sun was going down. It was 6:00pm a complete hour before they would meet, the cafe was only a 30min walk away, yet they were thirty minutes early.

They walked around and got some mochi, dango and Dorayaki, they saved some for the other three. It was now 6:20, ten minutes to spare. Shiggy being his gamer self wanted to go to this little arcade on the corner, he played for a bit, Deku looked at his phone and saw the time.

It was now 6:35, Deku told his boyfriend, they had to drag Shiggy away. They arrived at the cafe at 7:02 when they got inside, they didn't see Kiri, Todo or Kai. Had they got the date wrong? A little while later, the three almost fell trying to get through the door, Kiri and Kai relentlessly apologised again and again.

Todo explained what happened " We got a little lost, so we were late. Sorry, for making you guys wait." " It's okay! We were a little late ourselves." They all laughed a little, Shinso came to their table, in his uniform, a light brown long sleeve, a apron with " Pagie's cat cafe" on it in cursive, decorated with little cats and cups of coffee sewed in. Black pants to match, this was what they all wore.

" Hi, guys. What would you like?" The six placed their orders, then Deku's eye caught some, well it seems like Shinso and Denki had a fun night. Shinso saw Deku staring and quickly covered his neck,his face reddened. Shinso left, leaving them awkward and silent. Deku started talking, " So.... how have your pro hero lives been going?"

" They've been going really well, and met some really manly people recently." " I don't really like the attention but it's nice to be better than my father. Mother's out of the hospital, she's gotten much better. Her relationship with my father has improved."

" Eri likes seeing dadzawa and papamic more, she has lots of friends. I'm happy because I can help other kids be just as happy as she is." " You heard from All Might, recently? He's been really worried." " He should be dead." Deku mumbled " What?" " Nerd said the old geezer should be dead."

Kai looked around confused, had he missed a few chapters, a movie, an entire series? What was going on? The atmosphere dampened " I know how you feel." Kiri said, Todo nodded. Kai finally spoke up, " What happened with all might?"

They all stared at him, " Ohhhhhh, guess we forgot to tell you." " What did you forget to tell me, Kiri?" " How All Might is a disgusting, horrible person. Scratch that, he's not even human." Shiggy responded angrily. " What happened?"

" You sure you want to know?" Midoriya said " Yes. I want to know." "Okay. Well I was training with All Might as per usual. Then he said " Young Midoriya, I need one for all, back." I was so confused. Why would he say that? I asked him why, and his broken self said " You are not ready for this power, you are too weak. I realize this now." I was so hurt. How could he? " You can not save everyone yet you try anyways, knowing when to stop makes you a real hero." I was so angry, I put my life on the line for this power and now I have to give it back.

I yelled at him saying the power was mine, he responded with " How could you be a real hero, when you can't even save yourself. You are too weak, too young, too stupid. It was a mistake, giving you one for all."

" You are worse than young Bakugou and we both know what he is like." I screamed in anger, black vines escaped my body. They wrapped All Might's body, the grip on him growing tighter and tighter. " Young Midoriya, why are you doing this? Stop! Let me go!"

I didn't want to let him go, the past users' voices whispered in my ears " He is not worthy of our power. Kill him! Kill him! He has betrayed us for the last time. Get rid of him for good!"

I wanted to get rid of him but I couldn't. I let him go, as much as I wanted to get rid of him, he was every little kid's hero. God, it hurt to let him live, the whispers of the past users mumbled disapprovingly.

I decided right then that I would never become a hero. That's pretty much the whole story." Kai looked down, he felt so conflicted. " Bird beak, you good?" Kai looked up " Yeah. Just a little uncertain about what to think about All Might."

" That's okay, we felt the same when we first heard about what happened." Todo said in his always monotone voice. " Your orders are ready! Enjoy!" Momo said happily, they ate peacefully. Jiro's cafe mix playing softly in the empty space. They finished their food and Todo paid, he made Pagie cry with how big the tip was, she soaked her dog paw hands in happy tears.

Todo not understanding emotions well enough, thought he did something wrong and made the tip even bigger. They left and began walking home "Uh...." " Something wrong bro?" "We forgot to give them the food." " Shit!" " Go give it to them, flaky." Shiggy tried to protest but indented up running after them.

" Here's * pant* your food." "Thanks Shigbro, Kai wanted to keep in touch. Do you want his phone number?" Shiggy being the socially awkward person he is, agreed , Kai gave him his phone number. His phone number! Shiggy happily skipped back to his brother

" Looks like someone's happy, you got a date?" "No, you overgrown shrub." " Rude.". They walked home much happier than before, tonight was a good night. That is it for chapter four stick around for chapter five!
