[Grammer nazis I call upon you to point out every mistake!]

This wasn't supposed to happen.

Everything had been going just fine, so why was this happening?

Hiding scared and bleeding they huddled together, keeping away from the windows.

They had been trying to help their friend, Blake, uncover the reason behind the White Fang's sudden alliance with Roman Torchwick, an illegal arms trader and wanted thief.

Working together and with friends, they had managed to find his whereabouts and see first hand what dangerous weapons he had for show.

From there everything had gone great, well except for the part where they had to fight Roman with a stolen mech from Atlas as well as losing both Sun and Neptune in the issuing highway fight.

They were winning the fight though. Everything was going fine.

Until They came. It started with the sky catching fire, the dark cloudy night transforming into an inferno of reds and orange. Then, like dark tears, Metal pods fell from the sky. Bulky and metallic they fell into the city, destroying what ever laid in thier path towards ground. People included.

That's when the screams started, when the first one of the pods opened and let out the Demons inside.

They had tried to help, they had tried to do something, anything! But it was worthless.

Thier bullets did nothing, less then nothing as they harmlessly bounced off thier ugly, bulky armor as they tried to draw thier attention away from the people.

Thier blades proved no more useful then would a common stick as the sharpened edges of thier blades cracked and chipped without so much as leaving a scratch.

They could only watch and cower in fear as they saw the monsters rip through the people like wet paper.

They held no mercy. They had no boundary. They had no morals nor honor to withhold. Man or women, fanus or human, young or old. They did not care. All fell to thier onslaught.

If they were lucky enough to be given a quick death that is.

With horrified fascination, they saw the people burn to ash as they ran for shelter. They cried silently as they ran from poor victims of acid as they melted to pools of viscera and gore. They closed thier ears from the screams of people whoes limeds were ripped from thier very person as beasts played with thier still living bodies.

They watched as the monsters chased for victims like mad Men as thier glowing butcher knifes cut through muscle and bone like butter. They ducked as weapons flew over thier heads and through the air to cut down the people who tried to fight back before returning to the owner.

They laughed. Thoes monsters laughed and screamed in glee as they chased down civilians. They bellowed with laughter as they set groups on fire and saw them squirm.

They priased thier beast which returned with decapitated heads or dismembered legs and arms. Thier howls of joy echoing out in the destruction as burning building and collapsed homes spread as far as they could see.

And here they were, Team RWBY, the group who had showed much promise in the beginning, now huddled in a corner of an apartment room that had been spared from the destruction around it.
