Chapter 41

Elonique's Pov

I continued to watch the tv until I felt myself getting droopy as I fell into a deep sleep.

I awoke to the hushed voices outside my door. I looked at the time it was now 10:15am.

As I stretched looking at my surroundings forgetting that I was still at the hospital I got up and brushed my teeth with the new toothbrush and toothpaste along with a rag and soap that was placed at my bedside and also took a shower.

I took up the clothes that were also placed at my bedside also.

After a good shower and my mouth was now fresh ,I put on my clothes as well as the deodorant I got.

I went back to bed sitting down.

Couple minutes later Dr.Rosette came inside along with my mother.

As my mother came in she had embraced me in a hug,"oh sweetie, my poor baby , I'm sorry you had to go through that " she said as my head laid on her chest.

I was so happy to see my mom as I had my arms around her tightly.

She kissed my forehead " let's get you discharged and go home ,we can even get your favorite " she said with a small smile.

"Sure that sounds great"  I replied .

"Dr. Rosette , is she set to be discharged now " my mother said hopeful.

"Ah yes she can Miss. Rowan , she just need to take some rest that's all" she said with a smile.

"Thank you God"my mother said.

"Dr.Rosette nice meeting you " I said with a smile.

"Nice meeting you too, Elonique" she replied.

We left through the hospital doors as we got into my mom's car as we put on our seatbelts.

My mom drove at the normal speed as she pulled up to McDonald's drive thru.

I got my usual as she got the same driving straight home.

"Mom can I back to school tomorrow" I said hopeful .

"As long as your feeling better ,you can sweetheart" she said as she went towards her room.

I went to my room as ate my fast food then slowly but surely sleep took over.

By the time I woke up it was after 3 pm, I really was tired.

School was over now so Diana would most likely come over.

I brushed my teeth to freshen my mouth up.

I went downstairs to see my mom with her glasses on her face as she went through some papers.

"Hey baby, how are feeling " she said as I kissed her cheek.

"Better" I replied happily as I went to the kitchen for a bottle of water to drink.

I sat in the living room as I scrolled through my phone causally drinking the bottle of water.

Not long after there was a knock on the door.

I went towards the door to open it, it was Diana.

I opened the door wider as I let her walk pass me as she went upstairs to my room, me with her.

I sat down at the edge of the bed as Diana got comfortable adjusting herself unto the bed.

"School wasn't the same without you bestie<3 " she said pouting , "no fun and no excitement" she continued.

"Aww you already missed my presence with just one day of absence , I'm touched honestly" I said as I placed my hand over my heart as I nodded my head folding my lips in. You could picture how I really looked doing this.

"So how about Damien,ahem" I cleared my throat as I finished my sentence "you know, did look sad without my presence " I said as I bit my lip eager to know her answer.

"Inquisitive are we" she said as she raised her eyebrows up and down in a playful manner.

"Nevermind" I said slighty embarassed that I asked turning away from her facing the other direction playfully.

"Hey , I was just playing with you"she said as she held unto my arm to turn my body back to her.

I smiled ,"he looked sad actually, his hair looked disheveled like he had ran his hand through it too many times, eyes were red guessing from lack of sleep and smoking which I saw him doing. He didn't go to any classes and I can tell it's because of you that he started going to them" she said.

"He stayed mostly to him self basically, the only time he interacted with me was when he asked about how you were doing and when were you coming back"she said sighing as she recalled how sad he looked.

"That bad" I said as I let out a sigh.

"I really do miss him, and I do love him "I said as I voiced out my thoughts to Diana as I recalled his deep soothing voice saying "I love you Elonique".

"Diana , I've been thinking about us and I'm thinking about giving him my answer tomorrow " I said as I bit my lip.

"It's not my call to tell you what to do, so do what you think is best for you" she said as she laid her hand on my shoulder with a small smile.

Give him an answer, that's what I'm going to do.
