Fat. Skinny. Neither are defined as beautiful...
But why?
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram: custodians of our modern lives. Social media influences the why we think and feel about the world and ourselves. Seeing pictures of perfect photoshopped woman in bikinis -effortless in both style and grace with flat tummies and large breasts- or men who are artificially "fit" -with skinny six packs and V-lines- this changes young people's perspective on how they feel about themselves, ruining their self esteem and confidence when they can't achieve this "perfect" image.
It's very sad that we are living in a world where profile pictures and "likes" mean more than confidence and natural beauty, both inside and out, but I guess thats just modern society..
Loving yourself and who you are both on the outside and in is a long term goal which is different when there is a constant battle between what is "ideal" in a woman or a man but i say it's personal preference.
You are beautiful to someone! You just need to find them.. And in the mean time I do!
