The Blip.Flashback.9th of July. I'm sitting at the dining table with mum, Paul, Annabeth, and my newborn sister Estelle. We were eating tacos. Well, blue tacos and I couldn't help thinking how perfect it all way and that there was nothing going wrong. Don't tempt the fates Annabeth said to me once, guess what I did. Tempt the Fates. The old wooden table we were sitting on shook just a little. The leg I put on backward struggled underneath the weight. Were we having an earthquake!? I went to grab Estelle from her high chair, she was just laughing as mum was trying to feed her. No one noticed the table move. Out of nowhere, Paul said he felt funny, something he ate I thought and then he looked at his hand. The tips of his fingernail were flickering to dust. Gradually getting quicker and spreading up his arm like a disease.

The lights started flickering once, twice."P-Percy," Mum whispered in staggered breaths. She was looking at her arm, which was slowly melting away into dust. Just like Pauls."Mum?" I could barely comprehend what was happening."Paul!" Annabeth yelled. "What's happened-" His sentence got caught as his face disappeared to dust there was nothing left but a pile of ash. "Percy! Percy! Listen to me, baby." Mum's left arm was gone. "It's not your fault okay! Take care of Estelle!" I ran around the table and tried to grab Mum but, there was nothing left to hold. She was gone too. Estelle started whaling."Percy!" Annabeth was trying to get my attention. Arms wrapped me in a hug. Where did mum go?

"Perce, we're going to go to Olympus! We're going to fix this come on!"

Percy's P.O.V

I slide an old crate off the shelf. It fell to the floor with a soft thump. As I slowly lift the lid treasure box. The box was dusty and the left corner was damaged. It has engravings on the side that represented waves. The wood was old and stained, but still, the waves stood out. I rested the lid of the crate on the shelf near me. In the crate were two jars 1/4 way filled with dust and dirt. The names on the jars were

'Sally Jackson-Blofis'

and

'Paul Jackson-Blofis.'

I always thought about what would happen to the pjo fandom in the blip so I decided to write a one-shot. Would you like to see a book version?

Just trying something new! Feel free to correct me on grammar and spelling and just anything like tips and tricks in general! Would appreciate it!
