"I cannot believe my mum said yes to you." I remained in shock even when we had gotten to the party.

Ciara wiggled her brow at me then checked herself in the little mirror she carried along with her as she said, "I guess I played the right card."

"Or she wanted me out of the house." I said with a helpless sigh. My mum has probably had it with me because of my disorder. Let's just say she is a mess.

"Why is that?" She asked as we walked towards the house that was blaring the totally cool music. The other, was full on jazz.

"Not something I'd love to talk about but if you watch me yourself, you'll find out anyway."

"If it's the gay thing, I knew that since." She replied quickly then ran into the house.

I just rolled my eyes and joined her.

The description of a party will always be the same except if it's a simple get-together. As usual, people were dancing, drinking, humping, getting humped and falling asleep. Even a drunk came on Ciara but she quickly pushed him away and pulled me sharply to the kitchen.

When we had gotten settled with a can of soda each, I asked the obvious question, "So, whose party is this?"

She hummed then said, "One of Tom's ex-girlfriends."

"Oh." For some reason that sounded disappointing.

She pouted mockingly at me and said, "Don't feel bad hon. I know exactly where Tom is and that is exactly where we are going."

"Huh? Wait I never uh..." I trailed off then bit my lip from saying anything that she could easily twist to her liking.

"As expected. Come on." She threw her can into the trash that was across the room in a lazy arm throw. "Hey, I scored." Then she pulled me out of the kitchen.

Honestly, I'm too tired to fight for myself right now.

Ciara and I entered one of the rooms that were upstairs and instead of seeing the usual couple banging, it was like there was another party there. A small group of people gathered around, playing their own music and were chatting normally.

"What's happening here?" I whisper-yelled.

"Just so you know, that ex-girlfriend was Zac's little sister."

"So this is also Zac's house?"

I couldn't get my answer because Zac and Tom started walking towards us.

"Quickly, tell me how I look." Ciara asked out of nowhere.

I rose a brow as I answered, "Fine, I guess."

"You guess?" Just as she was about to turn to hit me, the boys arrived making her freeze in her spot. She tried for a friendly smile and said, "Hi Zac, Tom."

"Ciara! You made it and you brought your friend with you." Zac returned it with a wink.

"Yeah. He's Yale."

"Zac." He introduced himself.

"I know." I replied dryly.

"Okay." He shrugged then turned back to Ciara to give her his flirty smile and at that minute, I knew the chemistry that was going on between them.

Ciara was twirling her hair and showing off her teeth like an idiot while Zac's light brown eyes showed of the emotion Ciara was trying to portray with her teeth and hair twirl.

I was standing right in the midst of love blooming.

I cannot believe how unaffected by it I am.

"So," he said as he casually wrapped an arm around her shoulder, "how about I get you a drink and we watch them play truth or dare."

"I would like that." She said as she followed him away.

So now I was alone, well that was before I remembered Tom was just beside me when he said, "You think they'll make a good couple?"

At first I was confused as to who he was talking to but when I saw that no one else was around us, I shrugged and answered, "I uh... I don't know Ciara well enough actually or even Zac but give me a few days and I will answer that."

"Really?" He smirked, "So you are the observing type?"

"I guess."

"Wallflower?"

I frowned, "I don't do labels. Besides, none of you knew what wallflowers were before the movie."

Tom laughed, "That is so true. So, wanna join the game?"

"No." I said as I shook my head, "Truth or dare always invades my personal space."

"Personal space person huh?" he chuckled lightly then said, "Don't worry. If anybody crosses it, tell me." he added then cocked his head towards the crowd that sat in a circle with a bottle in the middle.

I glanced at them and back at him, "You sure?"

"Promise."

Taking in a deep breath, I exhaled as I said, "Okay."

"Good."

Following Tom towards the group, they immediately gave space for the both of us and we sat beside each other.

"Okay!! Let's make this the most memorable Truth or Dare generations will forever remember." The kid named Ian in my chemistry class said in a really weird voice.

"Shut up Ian. Let's start already." Prim rolled her eyes then said to Mark, "Mark, start."

Mark grinned as he started for the bottle but Ian stopped him and said to everyone, "Does everyone know the rules to this game?"

"Yes." Vivian groaned.

"Not really." Tom said.

"See." Ian said then stuck his tongue out at them. "The rule is simple. If you don't do your dare or answer your question, you drop ten bucks for the person who asked you. Do we all understand?"

I did. Very clearly.

I leaned closer to Tom and said, "Uh, Tom, when I came here, I expected to just sit and wait for whenever Ciara was done partying because she was the one taking me home. I didn't bring cash with me."

Tom gave me an amused smile, "Yale, Yale, Yale." He kept an arm around my shoulder and I immediately felt a spark that froze me in my spot. If Tom felt it, I wouldn't know because he acted normal and continued, "Don't worry, it's all on me."

Sighing, I leaned into him and said, "I hope I don't get to do your English assignment as payment."

"What? I would never. I actually want to know more about you."

"Really?" I asked as those grey orbs started into mine.

Tom's usual smile slowly fell until he was just staring at me with those eyes that seemed to be surprised by something he was seeing. I tried to look away because I was feeling a little weird but he held my face and said, "Did I ever tell you that your eyes are wonderful? They are so different and violet."

"I uh know. People call me weird when they notice it."

He slowly shook his head and said, "No. It is beautiful. I love it."

With those words, I felt what was happening between us. I was reacting to his compliments and he was reacting to my weird eyes. All we need now was the proper collision.
