Nagising sya dahil sa sobrang lamig na nararamdaman. Nanunuot sakanyang laman at buto ang ginaw, naramdaman nya ang kamay ng kanyang ina na humaplos sakanyang braso na tila ba hinihipo nito ang kanyang temperatura.
"you okay baby?" tanong nito sakanya ng,ngunit tango lang ang kanyang nagawa dahil sobrang nanghihina sya at sobrang sakit ng kanyang ulo. "What happened to me mommy?" malat nyang sabi.
"You collapsed infront of your prof office then dhruv saw you,according to him you look pale and he was about to approach you but you collapsed" tango nalang ulit ang sinagot nya dito.
Napalingon sya sa humahangos na papasok sakanyang kwarto. Umusbong ang puso nya ngunit agad ding nalungkot ng makitang si kuya dhruv nya ito at hindi ang lalaking kanyang inaasahan.
bakas ang galit sa awra nito pero agad ding umamo ang mga mata ng makita sya sa hospital bed na namumutla at hinang-hina. "How's your feeling now?" agap nitong tanong sakanya, she smiled a little bit, dry na dry ang kanyang lips kayat hindi rin sya gaanong maka ngiti.
"I'm feeling dizzy and weak but I am okay" hindi ito kumibo at kumuha ng tubig sa maliit na ref sa paanang bahagi ng kanyang hospital bed.
"Please don't get mad at kai, I'm the one who did this he doesn't ask me to do such a things." utas nya sa nang hihinang boses. Nakita nya ang pag kuyom ng kamao ng kanyang kapatid.
"tss, really? you still worrying that bastard even after you collapsed infront of your brother?"
hindi na sya kumibo dahil naiintindihan nya ang pinang gagalingan ng galit nito. Pumikit sya ng makaramdam ng soborang pagod at antok.
Nagising sya sa isang haplos sakanyang nuo ganon nalang ang gulat nya ng makita ang mukha ni kaiden na may pasa at putok ang labi.
"what happened to your face?" iyong agad ang lumabas sakanyang bibig. "this is nothing, don't mind me. Sarili mo dapat ang iniisip mo ngayon" ani nito.
bakas ang guilt sa mga mata ng binata kaya agad syang tipid na ngumiti dito para ipahiwatig na ayos lang sya. "hey, don't feel guilty. I'm the one who responsible for this, hindi mo naman hiningi saakin ang lahat ng ginawa ko para sa'yo ako ang may gusto nito, so please stop starring at me with those guilty eyes"
agap nyang sabi, kaiden sighed. "even though sana pinigilan kita, or sana hindi nalang ako nagpa bigat sayo, sana hindi nalang kita dinamay sa problema ko. I'm such an asshole. I'm so sorry. I'm really sorry cha" he replied with full of sorrowness and full of guilt in his tone
"do you think mag papapigil ako, If I know to myself that I can do something to help you? of course not! so please stop feeling guilty and I hope you been better very soon" tipid syang ngumiti sa binata.
Hinaplos ulit nito ang kanyang buhok bago nagpaalam na aalis na. she nod and after a few minutes her mom entered in her room with a tray of foods, vegetables and fruits on her hands. She smile at her mom and then sat down on her bed.
she feels better now siguro mga isa o dalawang araw pa na pahinga pa ay magiging ayos na sya. "how are you darling" her mom asks sweetly "I feel better than yesterday mom I think one or two more days of rest I can go back to school na." her mom just sighed and feed her.
"Your brother already passed a medical certificate at your school, so that you can rest for a while and no, one or two days are not enough baby. Rest for at least a week then I will agree with you to go back to school okay?" alam nya na sobra itong nag aalala sakanya at ayaw na nyang dagdagan pa ito kaya tumango nalang sya.
Ayaw naman nyang kontrahin ang ina dahil alam nyang pati ang kanyang mga tito ay ito rin marahil ang desisyon.
"sorry mom, I made you worried" she replied after a nod, she feel guilty to made her mom worried.
"shh.. it's already done and it's not okay, but please be mindful next time baby okay?" her mom put the tray of food on the table and smile at her while caressing her hair and she then smile back and nod again.
The next morning she was discharged from the hospital, her mother, brother and tito's are the one who picked her up as if she's in a very bad condition, even though she is just fine and feels better.
But still she's very thankful to her caring and loving family. They arrived at their home safely. Nagulat pa nga sya na may personal maid sya pagkarating sa bahay
"mom, parang ang OA na nito, I am okay now you don't have to hire a maid for me. I can manage myself" reklamo nya pero umiling lang ang tatlong lalaki sa gilid ng kanyang ina sino pa ba? edi ang magaling nyang kapatid, tito rajesh and tito ramesh.
"No baby, maiiwan ka lang mag isa here whenever I go to work and dhruv at school, and I don't want to be stress at work thinking if how are you here alone. Besides one week lang din iyang si ate lenie dito saatin, after a week of your rest ate lenie will go back to kuya rajesh home" hindi na sya kumibo ahil mukhang wala naman syang panalo sa apat na ito. She went to her room to rest.
wala pang isang oras ay narinig na nya ang matinis na boses ng kaibigan. "O to the M to the G Delayzaaa!! Ghad girl I miss you so much!!" she rolled her eyes into 90 degrees and hug her friend sam back.
"How are you? I'm sorry hindi kita napuntahan sa hospital alam mo na malapit na ang intrums at sobrang dami nading gawain sa school minsan ay inabot pa kami ng mga ka-grup ko sa library ng 10pm para lang mabuo yung thesis namin" malungkot nitong sabi.
Naiintindihan nya iyon dahil alam nyang hindi ganoon kabilis mag excuse lalo na at sa isang araw ay finals na nila.
"hey, it's okay. No worries, I understand you. And I'm better now, actually I can go back to school na nga, it's just that mom, uncles and kuya dhruv won't let me. they want me to rest for at least a week" she replied, sam nod.
"Please promise me that you won't do that again? please?" she confuse "Do what? the things that I've done for kai? why not?! gagawin ko parin iyon kahit ilang beses hanggat kaya ko sam" tipid nyang bulas sa kaibigan.
" that's not what I mean cha, i know naman na kahit pigilan ka namin you won't give a shit, What I mean is yung pag babaya sa sarili mo"she nod "yes ma'am I promise" they giggles after an hour of chit-chat sam bid a good bye to finish some tasks in school, she the take a med and rest.
