Pairing: Marauders x demigod!Reader (Platonic)

Genre: idk

Warnings: Cursing

Summary: Reader is one of the marauder's best friends, but they aren't completely honest with her. One night, she follows them on their escapades and discovers what they have been hiding.

Note: Yeah, this is a PJO/HP crossover. Reader is a child of Hades. I always wanted to write one, so here you go. I may have tweaked some canon information so it's not entirely accurate, but hey, it's fanfiction.

"Come on, we're gonna be late."

"Shut up you twat. You'll wake somebody."

You shifted slightly on the couch where you had apparently fallen asleep. Four figures were trying, and failing, to cross the common room as quietly as possible.

"Shit, there's somebody on the couch." Sirius' s voice echoed in the darkness.

"Shhh" someone hissed back.

"Can it, Peter."

It was clear to you who these figures were. The Marauders. Your best friends since first year. Well, until they began sneaking around and hiding from you. For a moment you debated sitting up and asking them where the hell they were going. This was the third time you had seen them trying to sneak out. No, today you were going to follow them. The lying and secrecy had to come to an end.

"It's okay. It's only (y/n). You know she sleeps like a rock. Come on"

The four boys crept to the door and clambered through the portrait hole. As soon as they were out of sight you went back into your dorm. Quietly, as to not wake your dorm mates, you went to your dresser and pulled out the necklace hidden under your socks. It was a simple leather chain with six clay beads strung on it. Each bead symbolizing a summer spent at Camp Half Blood. In addition to the clay beads, there was a small bronze and silver charm engraved with the symbol of Hades, the helm of darkness. The charm had been a gift from the god himself and morphed into a sword with a bronze and silver blade (Kinda like Luke's only with silver instead of steel). Carefully you tied the leather band around your neck and looked out the window. The four boys were walking across the castle grounds, towards the whomping willow.

'What on earth do they want to do at the willow?' you thought as you quickly pulled on some shoes. Soon you were running through the deserted halls of the castle and the main doors came into sight. Finally you made it outside, but the grounds were deserted. No marauders in sight. Suddenly, a small movement at the edge of the Forbidden Forest caught your eye. Three dark figures were moving quickly through the trees at the edge before diving into the thicket. It was too dark to tell, but something told you that this was what you had been looking for, and you started running again, this time towards the forest.

As you reached the edge of the trees, you began to slow. Quietly you crept through the dark forest after your friends. The tall trees and the whispering breeze reminded you of the forest back at camp. Not the best memory for this occasion. The woods at camp were filled with all sorts of monsters that you didn't want to cross alone at night. Suddenly a distressed howl cut through the air. Your hand moved to the pendant around your neck, where the weapon was concealed. You looked around for the path but there was nothing but tall trees and thick shrubs around. Perfect conditions for a monster ambush. You stood still for a while, listening for further howls, but nothing came.

There was a strange feeling in your gut, the feeling that someone, or something was watching you. You turned around but there was nothing there. Every nerve in your body told you to run, but you resisted. There was something in this forest that shouldn't be in here, and you weren't about to leave your friends alone now.
