Road to fame

You waited for your best friend to arrive, she had some information about a movie role you might have been interested in. She didn't say much about it except there was a creature, one that stole children. When she told you about that you were quite intrigued.

After about 15 minutes she burst through the door. "I'm here!" She announced loudly. She dropped on the sofa beside you, "read this." Your best friend passed you a piece of paper. You scanned every word.
'Winter is approaching, a family decided it was the perfect day to go to the local lake. On the way the children greatly misbehaved. Whilst at the lake the parents look away for a split second and the children disappear from the waters edge. '
It was not exactly what you expected. You wanted something a bit more brutal. The concept interested you though.

"So do you know when auditions are?" You asked your friend.

"There next week. Monday all day and Tuesday afternoon for the mum, Tuesday morning and all day Wednesday, all day Thursday and Friday for the children," she explained to me. You wanted to audition and that was a fact. "Think about auditioning?" She asked.

"Aspen, you already know it!" You replied. You wanted to try for the mum. Next was to find out were the auditions were being held. "Asp, where are the auditions being held?" You asked.

"In London, I can send you the exact location later."

You talked for hours on end, and after a while Aspen left. You and Aspen new eachother from a musical you were both in. She played the main character and you were her mother-in-law. You did get some backlash for that role. You were supposedly too young, atleast that's what you heard fans said.
During auditions you found yourselves lined up together, you both wanted the main role. Obviously you didn't get the role.

You woke up to the sound of your alarm blaring in your ears. You rolled out of bed and walked to your wardrobe. You settled on a green shirt, a black blazer and black trousers. After changing you went to the kitchen, making a mug of (Favourite hot drink).
Once you finished your drink you9 sorted out your hair. You made it as neat as you could.

After an hour drive you arrived. There were so many woman there to audition. You felt overwhelmed. You'd auditioned for things, seen a lots of women doing the same but never this many. It showed how big the movie wasgoing to be. As you heard names being called you worried yours would be next. Your friend mentioned the names of the director and writer, they didn't seem to rign a bell.

"I heard that this is the director's and writer's first movie!" A woman squealed.

'Makes sense now' you thought to yourself.

"Amanda Moorson," a man called out, the woman in front of you stepped forwards and went inside with the man. A few minutes passed and then the same man called out your name. You stepped forwards and followed.

The man led you into a room. At a table sat the director and writer.
They stood up as soon as you stepped through the door. The man didn't come in. He stopped outside and closed the the door.

The director and writer walked towards you with warm smiles. The director shook your hand, "Hi, I'm Thomas Lincoln and this is Emilia Jenkins." He introduced them both.
They explained how this was going to work and gave me a few line to say.

"If you two don't keep your mouths shut your father will turn this car around," you said in a aggressive tone.

"Thank you so much for your time, we will let you know if you need to come back or if you already get the role," Thomas says.

And with that you left. You got a taxi back home and waited for an email or call. Almost a month went by and finally you got the email.
You hurriedly opened it to see of you got the role.
