Sonic hugged Shadow tightly. "I thought you hated me!" The cobalt hedgehog said. "What?! No I don't! I missed you." Shadow replied gently. Amy cringed. She hate the sight of seeing Sonic and Shadow together. So she walked away pouting to herself. Silver stepped in the room. "Welcome back, Shads." He said with a friendly smile. Shadow returned the smile except with a wink. Silver shuddered. 'He never winks at me like that..' He thought. Then he shrugged it off and walked down stairs. The next morning, everyone sat at the table, and Sonic sat by Shadow, leaning his head on the ebony hedgehogs shoulder. Tails sat down his fork and swallowed. "Hey, Me, Sonic and the rest were gonna go on an adventure. Tomorrow." He explained. Shadow blinked. "And..?"

"And we just wanted to let you stay here. Jet is gonna be there and I know you two don't get along well." The yellow fox finally said. Shadow nodded. "Would it be okay with you, Shady?" Honey squeaked from behind. "Yea. I guess it would be fine." Shadow replied as stuffing his mouth with his bacon biscuit. "Good! Silver will be here to keep you company, just to let you know." Tails added. Shadow peered at Silver. He gave him his wink again. Silver smiled just to be polite. 'oh great. Now he's gonna molest me or something..' He thought to himself. "Yea.. I will be here." The grey hedgehog said.

The next day, Sonic gave Shadow a quick kiss before they left. "See you in a couple of weeks!" He said. "See you." Shadow replied with a smirk. Everyone left out the door and walked over to Tails' airplane, and got in it, and they zoomed off.

Silver sat in his room drawing. He did that when he was thinking, or just had nothing else to do. Him and Blaze weren't official yet. But he wanted to. He didn't know if she wanted to though. Shadow walked by Silvers room to see him drawing something on the nice sheet of computer paper. He smiled and kept walking by. Silver spun around to see what was in his door way.

But he saw Shadows tail disappear behind the wall.
