"Can we talk?" Tony pleaded for the what seemed like the 5th time that day. Draco hadn't talked to him all day after the whole hanging out with the Gryffindor golden boy thing happened. Tony knew Draco was mad at him for befriending Po-Harry, but then again, Tony himself was also still a little upset about Draco ditching him to hang out with a Hufflepuff not once but twice this week. Draco and him had planned to go to breakfast early that morning so they could go to the Library before class, but Draco never showed up making stark eat his breakfast alone while waiting for his other friends to show up, who had obviously still been sleeping. All in all Tony was annoyed with the whole situation but he hated fighting with Draco, so he was gonna fix this as soon as he could.

When Draco didn't reply after Tony's millionth attempt of getting Draco to talk to him, Tony gave up. sighing and leaving Draco alone, and moving to sit with Natasha and Blaise on the couch on the other side of the common room.

"Just give him some time." Nat said, as Tony let himself fall down on the couch in between the both of them.

"I did, I gave him almost the whole day, I left him alone in all of our classes to let him cool down but he's still pissed." Tony told them, giving Blaise a weak smile when the other lad patted his shoulder comfortingly.

"Okay, let me talk to him." Nat sighed, standing up from the couch and going up to Draco, not giving Tony the chance to respond. Tony watched as Nat plopped down next to Draco, he couldn't quite hear what they were saying, but Tony did see Draco shake his head at something Nat had said, which was more than Tony had achieved so far. Tony watched as the two talked, they both seemed calm enough, but he wasn't sure if that was a good thing.

Eventually both Draco and Natasha stood up from the couch and made their way to where Tony and Blaise were still seated, making Tony get up from the couch, ready to ask if Draco would talk to him in the dorms now. However before Tony had the chance to ask, Draco had beat him to it.

"Come with me." Draco had said with a blank face, before walking off to the dorms without another word. Tony followed him quickly, not wanting Draco to change his mind and go back to stubbornly ignoring him, like the childish lad he was. Once in the dorm Draco sat down on his own bed, which stood besides Tony's own bed. Not wanting to overstep, Tony decided to just sit on his own bed, across from Draco, letting Draco have his own space for now.

"Alright talk." Draco said, face blank, making Tony sigh.

"Are you really this mad at me for hanging out with Harry?" Tony asked, genuinely confused about why Draco was so mad about it.

"Oh he's Harry now?! Is this a fucking joke?" Draco asked loudly. Tony winced, knowing he'd made a mistake by calling Harry by his given name instead of the usual 'Potter'. Tony obviously knew about Draco's hatred for Harry, but Tony always kept himself at a safe distance from it, not wanting to get involved with the years long rivalry the two of them had going on. Tony kind of understood why Draco seemed to dislike Harry so much back then, with Harry being the literal golden child and all. He was loved by every teacher except for Snape, just because of what he had unknowingly done when he was a baby.

The Slytherins got treated badly by almost all teachers, Dumbledore especially seemed to hate them, and it annoyed Tony too, that everything was just simply given to the Gryffindor on a golden platter, but that was all before he'd actually talked to Harry. Tony always assumed Harry was a stuck up little brat who charmed his way through any and every little problem or obstacles that landed on his plate, he assumed Harry had a perfect little life, and could get anything without actually working for it, but talking to Harry had changed Tony's whole opinion. Tony noticed how much Harry hated the attention they'd gotten when they entered class, he noticed how Harry dodged any praise or credit that he didn't deserve from Hagrid by telling Hagrid who the credits actually belonged too. Harry was caring and funny, an open book that Tony didn't have any trouble reading, It surprised Tony to see how insecure the boy was and how much pain was hidden behind those green eyes. Tony could immediately tell that there was more to Harry than he had ever expected, he still didn't know much about the boy but he did know that the Harry Potter everyone seemed to think they knew wasn't at all who Harry is, and Tony was intrigued.
