2. Unexpected Movie Night Guest

I was currently walking around the living room to prepare everything for movie night. My guts were telling me to get extra snacks because my older brother always joins us and would eat everything. I softly sing along to the song 'Mind Games' of Scarlet Fate, I seriously love this group. For some reason I felt a connection to lead rapper A of the group, maybe because of the date of our birthday or something. I don't really know or care.

"Sis, are you joking" the low complaining voice of my brother whines. "This is not enough chocolate for the three of us. Why don't you grab a jar of Nutella and crackers for you and Erin".

I slap his sneaky hand - that was reaching out to the candy - away. "Sh don't you dare. Besides I didn't know it was your period".

My brother, Kellan, starts to move his head mockingly just to annoy me. Kellan has a gift of annoying people, that's why he will always be alone until he grows up.

I grab one of the pillows off the couch to throw at his head. "Stop being such an ass" I mutter.

"Ah sorry princess, but you are no Kylie Minogue so stop acting like a brat".

An annoyed look spreads on my face as I grab another pillow to suffocate him this time. "You are the brat here. You are such a pain for a twenty five year old that lives with his sister".

He shakes his head as he flips his finger against my forehead. "First of all you live with me you little brat," he chuckles as he raises his middle finger on purpose. "second of all I'm legally still twenty four and third of all, shut up". To top it off he flips his finger against my forehead again.

I really want to suffocate him with a pillow right now.

The annoying buzzer of the door bell goes off and for the first time he walks towards the hallway to open the door. With a surprised look I look at my watch to see that she's on time for once.

Suddenly the door swings open to reveal my brother with a devious smile on his face. "Ah sis, I have a gift for you" he snickers.

"You're too cheap for gifts" I mumble.

He face palms himself. "For once just play along please".

I shake my head but play along. Kellan does some weird jazz hands move before stepping aside to reveal Jackson. Oh crap no!

"Ah look it's my Dharma" Jackson says with a smile as he bumps his arm against my brother's arm. "Your sister is cute hyung".

"Yes but don't call me hyung yet. You annoy me" Kellan says as he - again - tries to reach the bowl of chocolates. Luckily I still had my pillow and throw is in his face.

I quickly grab another one and stand in front of the coffee table. "Back off big brother Zhang. I am not afraid to use this".

Kellan looks pretty pissed off at this point. With a loud sigh he moves his hand through his hair.

"This will never get you a man sis. You are too annoying".

I feel like throwing a couch at his smug face, or a refrigerator. That annoying piece of crap. Luckily the doorbell goes off. Only neither of us move.

"Answer the door dear brother" I say with a fake smile.

He shakes his head. "No dear sister, I insist you go".

He gives me an intense stare while I fold my arms over my chest. Suddenly Erin walks through the door with an confused facial expression. "Say Kyles, who's the sexy doorman guy".

I look behind her to see Jackson smiling at us. "Ah I'm Jackson, her new neighbour. This is my hyung and she's my Dharma".

"Ah I see. But his name is Kellan and hers is Kylie. Oh by the way I'm Erin".

Erin walks over to me with a smile on her features. "His Dharma huh, that's pretty special".

I give her a playful push which causes her to fall on the couch. From the corner of my eyes I can see how Kellan rolls his eyes and goes to his room while complaining how annoying the world is. I shake my head while Jackson takes a seat next to me.

"So what are we watching" he questions.

Erin raises her eyebrows. "You really do feel at home right away huh".

"It's because it's so boring at my house. It's so empty and dead" Jackson says while grabbing a piece of chocolate. "I just moved in today. All the ahjussi's had to carry a lot of boxes".

"Yes we get it, now Erin choose a movie and get this over with" I mutter annoyed.

She snickers as I see her walk towards the tv with a dark DVD box in her hand. No she's not going to put that one on right? No I'll die for sure!

"Let's watch Mama, I heard it's a good movie".

Jackson gives her a thumbs up. "It sounds like a family movie".

"Yes a movie for a dysfunctional family".

Erin knows how scared I get because of this movie. She knows how badly it freaks me out. The first time we watched it, I begged her to stay the night because I was too scared. Was this some evil way of her to set me up with Jackson? Because that's not going to happen.

With a satisfied smile she takes a seat next to me. I'll remember this for the next time she sees a handsome guy.

"Ah look it's a horror movie" Jackson says surprised. "You lied to me", he points his finger at Erin. "I thought it was about a dog who was finding his mother, but it's that boring horror movie".

"Bo-boring" I ask him confused. "It's not boring, it's creeping me out".

"Then when you get scared you can crawl into my arms Dharma".

With a look of horror I look at the smiling Erin. Damn this woman! She got what she wanted to achieve. If only I had a caring brother who would scare Jackson away. Oh forget it, I'll just sit with a pillow in front of my eyes for the next hour and a half.
