How long had it been? Five hours? Six hours? It had defiantly been long enough to assure myself that I was not, in fact, dreaming. However, I supposed that nobody really has any sense of time when they're dreaming. Maybe it was a dream. Although, it is also true that people don't get hungry in dreams. They're dream-self character can become hungry, but that's really all in your head. This was physical hunger.

Around five, or six, hours ago I started to exist. At least, that's what it felt seemed like. I couldn't remember anything before that, so that was the best guess I had. I didn't even know what I looked like. All I did know was that I didn't know why I was sitting in the woods...

It appeared to be midday, which was how I had gaged how long I had been sitting there. Okay... so I guess I knew some other stuff.

I started to wonder if this was all I was meant to do. Just sit in the woods. I decided I wouldn't mind that. I decided I liked the woods. I decided that I liked the coolness, and the darkness, and the light sifting down through the darkness. Most of all, I decided that I liked the trees. There was just something about them. They had a power, and right then I had none.

While trying to organize the little amount of things I knew, I heard a noise. I didn't know how to feel. What did people normally feel when they heard a noise? Fear? Curiousity? Nervousness? Cautious? Did any other people exist to feel these things?

I decided to go with a mix of cautious and curiosity. I moved to get up from my place on the forest floor, and moved behind a tree opposite to where the sound had come from. While doing this I discovered a new feeling. Pain. if not pain, then something very similar. I decided I didn't like it. The sensation seemed to grow and decay as I stretched my legs.

The sound happened again. I moved faster to my place of refuge. This was difficult, as my legs didn't seem to understand the concept of standing. The sound got closer. Wobbling, I got behind the tree. My breathing started to accelerate, and I decided that I didn't like this feeling either. There was something inside of me that I hadn't noticed yet. It going: Tha Thump Tha Thump. Why didn't understand that it needed to be quieter?

The sound stop coming towards me. I looked around the tree, and saw someone. Yes, other people do exist.
