A/N: I tried with the Japanese names. I'm sorry for the mistakes, like I said, I tried my best.

//Texting//

//Ojiro// I'm really worried, she's not here yet. What if she doesn't show up?

//Mina// Don't worry! It's literally only 3 minutes past 5:30

//Ojiro// You're right. I just want everything to be perfect. We've been together for a while, and I really want to take the final step. It's more nerve wracking as it comes closer, tho...

//Mina// What're you nervous about? Rejection?

//Ojiro// ... Yeah

//Mina// She would never! You should hear how she talks about you!

"Mashirao!" I look up at Uraraka, calling out to me as she runs to the meeting spot. I exhale with relief.

/Ojiro/ She's here. I'm going to go

/Mina/ Good luck! <3

"I'm so sorry I'm late! We had a last minute hiccup on patrols." She looked up at me. I blushed slightly, my heart fluttering in my chest a little.

She's still the one I love, ring or not. No matter what happens today.

"You haven't been waiting long, have you?" She looked up worriedly.

"No, no, it's fine. I just got here a few minutes ago."

"It's really pretty here. I didn't know that there were places like this around." She looked out at the glittering lake, circled by the wooden boardwalk so that people could walk around the lake.

"Come on. I have something to show you." I took her hand in mine, leading her around the lake. We spent most of the walk in comfortable silence. Uraraka looked all around at the hanging lanterns that criss-crossed above the path, glowing softly and twinkling in the reflection of her eyes.

All I could think about was her. After all these years, I'm still so in love. I then realized we were getting close.

"Okay, okay, close your eyes." I said playfully. She did, with a big smile on her face. I held her hand tight as I lead her closer to what I'd planned.

"Open!" I said, gently releasing her hand. Her smile grew in surprise and excitement as she looked at the romantic picnic that I set up for her.

"Oh my god! What's the occasion?"

"Um, nothing. I just wanted to do something special tonight. Here, sit." I went to sit down on the blanket, and I patted the space next to me. She sat cuddled next to me, her face against my chest. We watched the sun go down and the stars appear in the sky as we enjoyed the food and each other. I held her in my arms, held her hand, looked into her entrancing eyes, knowing I was happiest with her. This is what heaven must feel like. This night. I then knew that there were no mistakes.

Finally, when the crescent moon was shining brightly and the lanterns and stars glowed in the lake water, I decided it was time.

"Ochako. I have an important question to ask you." I looked at her with a slight smile.

"Yes?" She asked attentively, leaning in closer to me. I grabbed her hands and stood up with her before reaching into my pocket to pull out a little velvety box. She saw the box, and her mouth dropped.

I got down on one knee, smiling endearingly up at her.

"Uraraka Ochako... will you marry me?" I said, opening up the box to reveal a stunning silver ring with a tanzanite center.

"Yes! Of course!" She leapt into my arms for a hug, and I squeezed her back tightly. Tears were welling at the corners of her eye, and her smile was so wide it looked like it hurt. I slid the ring onto her finger, and this time I decided to be brave, going in for a passionate kiss on the lips.

Later, we went home. She fell asleep next to me, breathing in and out slowly. I fell asleep with a smile, taking joy in the fact that I'd wake up next to her always.

A/N: I think I ship. Anyway, I had a lot of fun writing this. This one was definitely short. I don't know if this will be average length. I hope you enjoyed! 🎃Also, happy Halloween if you're celebrating! 🎃
