The Chunin Exams were fast approaching, and Naruto's excitement only fueled his rigorous training. Over the past eleven days, he had learned three new jutsus, a feat he took immense pride in. He checked each one off on his list, feeling a deep sense of accomplishment. His newfound skills were a testament to his dedication, and he couldn't wait to show his progress to everyone, especially to his teammates and rivals.Sasuke, who had been watching Naruto's growth from a distance, couldn't help but acknowledge the improvement. Naruto's strength was undeniable, and Sasuke felt the stir of competition within him. "That idiot is improving at a fast pace," Sasuke thought, clenching his fists as he watched Naruto practice. Realizing he couldn't afford to fall behind, Sasuke resolved to push himself even harder. While observing Naruto, Sasuke felt a presence beside him. He turned quickly, startled, only to see Sakura standing there with a curious look. "What are you doing here, Sasuke?" she asked, watching him with mild amusement.Sasuke, caught off guard, nearly stumbled. "You almost scared me to death!" he blurted out, regaining his balance as he shot her a slightly annoyed look. Composing himself, he looked away, adding, "What about you? Aren't you supposed to be training?"Naruto, noticing them, approached with a cheerful grin. "Hey, Sasuke! Are you not going to train? Or are you just here to spy on my awesome skills?" he teased, his voice light but filled with genuine curiosity.Sasuke crossed his arms, shrugging nonchalantly. "I just finished. Thought I'd check on what the others were doing. And you..." he paused, hiding a small grin, "...you're doing well for an idiot."Before Naruto could reply, Kakashi appeared from nowhere, as usual, hands in his pockets, his eye lazily surveying the three of them. Naruto immediately perked up and ran over to his sensei. "Hey, Kakashi Sensei! Are you busy right now?"Kakashi tilted his head. "Hmm, not particularly. Do you need something?"Naruto's face lit up with excitement. "I want to spar with you, Sensei! I need to see how strong I've gotten before the Chunin Exams!"Kakashi chuckled softly, the familiar playful glint in his eye. "I'm willing, but maybe you should start with someone closer to your level. You might get more out of it."Sasuke raised an eyebrow, scoffing slightly. "Closer to his level? Are you implying I'm weaker than Naruto?" he asked, his competitive nature flaring up.Kakashi shrugged casually, a teasing smile visible under his mask. "You're certainly strong, Sasuke. But I wonder... can you handle Naruto as he is now?"Sakura, listening to their conversation, looked at Kakashi with concern. "Will Naruto be okay, Sensei?" she asked, a bit worried about the outcome.Kakashi smiled at her, reassuringly. "Naruto is much stronger than he looks, Sakura. He might even be stronger than Sasuke."Sakura's eyes widened, surprised by Kakashi's confidence in Naruto. Naruto, on the other hand, was filled with pride, grinning from ear to ear. He turned to Sasuke, determination blazing in his eyes. "What do you say, Sasuke? Let's see who's really stronger!"Sasuke smirked, always ready for a challenge. "Fine. First one to fall on their back loses."They faced each other in the training ground, the tension high as they prepared for their spar. Naruto's hands formed a familiar seal, summoning ten shadow clones around him. "Attack!" he commanded, positioning himself at the back as his clones charged at Sasuke.Sasuke darted forward, his movements swift and precise, dismantling Naruto's clones one by one. His sharp reflexes and speed left Naruto's clones in defeat, and for a moment, it seemed as though Sasuke had the upper hand. But as he took a breath, he glanced around, unable to spot the real Naruto.Suddenly, Sasuke looked up, spotting Naruto descending from above, aiming a powerful right jab. Realizing it was another clone, Sasuke narrowly dodged, sidestepping the attack. But Naruto was ready. "Wind Style: Immense Breakthrough!" he shouted, sending a gust of wind barreling towards Sasuke, who stumbled backward. Before Sasuke could fully recover, Naruto's voice echoed behind him, followed by the voices of several clones. "Wind Style: Concentrated Air Cannon!" Naruto and his clones called out in unison, unleashing a more focused blast that struck Sasuke like a solid punch.Sasuke gritted his teeth, pushing through the pain as he activated his Sharingan. The heightened perception helped him regain his footing, and he couldn't help but marvel at Naruto's newfound strength. Determined not to be outdone, he steadied himself and locked eyes with Naruto. "It's not over yet!" he called, gathering chakra for his own counterattack.Sasuke unleashed his *Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu*, a massive sphere of flames erupting from his mouth, hurtling towards Naruto. But Naruto swiftly countered with *Earth Style: Mud Wall*, raising a sturdy wall that absorbed the flames, protecting him from the attack. Not letting up, Sasuke followed up with his *Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu*, multiple smaller fireballs aimed at Naruto from various angles. Naruto responded by channeling wind chakra into his hands, releasing his *Wind Style: Gale Palm* to disperse the fireballs. Though Sasuke managed to dodge mid-air, he was beginning to feel the strain of Naruto's relentless assault. As they continued, Sasuke prepared his next move: *Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu*, a concentrated stream of fire aimed directly at Naruto. Naruto, reacting swiftly, created a Shadow Clone that took the brunt of the attack, sparing him from harm.Sasuke landed, only to feel a shuriken flying toward him. He quickly threw his own shuriken in defense, but Naruto's weapon sliced through his and continued on its path. Sasuke dodged just in time, but the shuriken's trajectory left a scar on a nearby tree, almost cleaving it in half. Sasuke stared, stunned by the force Naruto had put behind the attack. Before he could process what had happened, Naruto's *Earth Style: Earth Prison Jutsu* sprang up around him, trapping Sasuke in an impenetrable dome of earth. Kakashi stepped in, raising his hand to signal the end of the match. "Time out!" he called, nodding to Naruto as he declared him the winner. The earth dome faded away, leaving Sasuke standing in silent shock. He looked at Naruto, unable to understand how he had grown so much in such a short time. Kakashi, meanwhile, addressed all three of them."It's time to move on to the next stage," he announced, a knowing smile in his eye. "I'll be testing all three of you together."Naruto, who had been eagerly anticipating a one-on-one spar with Kakashi, pouted. "But you said it would just be me!"Kakashi laughed, placing a reassuring hand on Naruto's shoulder. "Yes, Naruto, I did say that. But you're a team. In the Chunin Exams, you'll need to rely on each other, not just yourselves. Training as a team will make you stronger together, not just individually."Naruto's disappointment quickly turned to understanding, and he nodded in agreement. "You're right, Kakashi Sensei. We need to grow stronger as a team."Kakashi looked at his students with pride, his voice filled with encouragement. "That's the spirit, Naruto. All three of you have potential beyond even my expectations. I'm sure you'll continue to grow and surprise me."Naruto, filled with excitement, turned to Kakashi, eager to hear more feedback. "Kakashi Sensei, have I gotten stronger since our last mission?" he asked, his voice brimming with enthusiasm.Kakashi chuckled, nodding thoughtfully. "Naruto, you never stop surprising me. Your versatility with jutsus, especially managing two nature transformations simultaneously, is incredible. How did you manage that in such a short time?"Naruto scratched his head, grinning. "Well, I figured out that my Shadow Clones retain their memory after they disperse. So, I made a bunch of clones and had each one practice different techniques. When they disappeared, all the training came back to me!"Kakashi's eyes widened slightly, impressed. "Ah, using Shadow Clones as a training method... Very clever." He looked at Naruto with a sense of pride, an unspoken thought running through his mind. *He truly is your son, Sensei,* Kakashi thought, a small smile appearing as he watched Naruto excitedly talk to Sasuke and Sakura. As Kakashi observed the team, he couldn't shake the feeling that Naruto was already starting to surpass even his expectations—and perhaps, one day, his father's legacy as well. The three of them had come so far, and as they prepared for the Chunin Exams, Kakashi felt confident that together, they would achieve great things.
