**Bree's POV**
"Can we go to Disney World now?" Casey whined for the billionth time. "No." I replied (for the billionth time). "Why not?" She moaned. "Because we just got to Florida and I don't want to go to Disney World yet. Wait 'till tomorrow." I said, still laying on the bed. She crossed her arms, pouting, but then said "Fine.". I sighed, and smiled. Finally.
"Can you go get some food? I'm Huuuungrey!" Casey whined, drawing out the word "Hungry". I sent her a death glare, and said, "No." But right at the same time, my stomach made a growling sound. Casey just smirked and said, "Can you go get food now?" I sighed in defeat as I got up and grabbed my shoes.
"I'm only doing this out of my hunger, not yours." I called out as I started walking towards the door of our hotel room. My last sight before walking out was Casey, jumping up and down on her Lion King based bed.
Walking out of the hotel room, I headed towards the staircase. I had a terryfying fear of lifts, and wasn't planning on facing my fears today. As I walked towards the first flight of stairs, I couldn't help but glance down through the crack between the railings. For being on the Tenth floor, this seemed awfully high up. I sighed and started making my way down, my gaze avoiding the long way down.
I had only walked down two (long) flights of stairs when I was stopped by a janitor, who was busy scrubbing the stairs on the seventh level. "Uh- Excuse me," I stuttered out, my extreme shyness getting to me. "No can do, ma'am. This level is in the middle of cleaning, and it is extremely slippery. You can just take the elevator on the floor above us." He smiled at me quickly before returning to work. Being the extremely socially awkward person I was, I just nodded and walked back up the stairs. I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going until I found myself in front of an elevator. I quickly stopped myself. I was not going on an elevator. I mean, what if it got stuck?
I could hear the voice in my head telling me that I wouldn't die, and that getting stuck in a lift had a 1 in 100,000 chance of happening. (A/N: It's true, look it up) I sucked in a deep breath and pressed the "down" button. I was 21, I had to go on an lift at some point in my life. The lift made a "Bing!" sound (Which scared the crap out of me) and the doors whooshed open. I walked in and the doors closed just as I pressed the "Lobby" button. There was no going back now.
As I stood there, eyes squeezed tight, the lift came to a sudden stop. My eyes flew open, because I knew I couldn't have been there already. I started to panic, but then the doors opened, revealing two (good-looking) boys, who were laughing as they walked into the lift. The doors then closed and continued moving, making me feel stupid at the fact that I was trying to plan out my will right there. (A/N: A "will", for all you stupid people, is what people write for who they will give their belongings to when they die.) The boys looked at me, and I just kind of smiled awkwardly. To my surprise, they just smiled back, before going back to their convesation about the Legend of Zelda.
"That is not how you get Epona, Phil!" One of them said to, I'm guessing, Phil. Their accents were clearly British, which made me feel a bit more at home for some reason.
"Yeah! You just find her somewhere in Hyrule Field, Dan!" "Phil" retorted.
"Nu-uh! You need to find her at night in the Forest Temple!" The other one, Dan, said. I facepalmed, loud enough for them to turn around and look at me.
"To get Epona, you need to go to Lon Lon Ranch as a child, and talk to the girl in the feild, and hold out your Ocarina. She will teach you Epona's Song. Then, Go back to Lon Lon Ranch when you're an adult and then you will see that Ingo has taken over. Talk to Ingo and he'll offer you time to ride a horse. Pay the Rupees and ride Epona.
"Call her by playing Epona's Song and she'll come to you. Ride around and when your time's up, talk to Ingo again and pay him the Rupees again. Play Epona's Song once again and Epona will come to you again. After climbing up on her, talk to Ingo and he'll talk about you becoming better and he'll challenge you to a little race. Bet the Rupees and prepare to race. Once you win the first race, Ingo will then complain and say that if you beat him again you can keep Epona. This time the race is a bit harder, but if you win, He'll let you keep Epona. Duh." I said, making hand gestures along the way. (A/N: Sorry.. Remember, nerd here!!)
The two boys, Dan and Phil I'm guessing, stared at me with their mouths open and eyes wide. I just blushed, thinking that what I said was exremely nerdy. "Sorry.." I trailed off. One of them, Phil I think, broke out into a grin. "Thanks." At that point, the lift made a huge squeaking sound, and it stopped. My face turned cold, and I realized that we actually were stuck. So much for 1 in every 100,000 times on a lift will it stop. The two boys looked at me funny, but I didn't care. I know I probably looked like an idiot, but I was about to DIE. I'm surprised they weren't clinging onto something for dear life themselves.
When they seemed to finally figure out the elevator wasn't going to start up again, I really started to panic. "Crap, crap, crap, crap." I said to myself, "I'm stuck in a lift with two strangers and I'm probably gonna die." I started pacing back in forth, before stopping in front of one of them (whose name I have forgotten). "Is this lift getting smaller to you?" I asked frantically. Surprisingly, the boy seemed incredibly calm, and just shrugged, saying "Seems fine to me." I couldn't help but look at him, bewildered. "What do you mean?! We are all going to DIE!" I whimpered, pushing on the walls of the lift, hoping it would expand them.
The other one came up to me, blocking the wall. "How about this? Just sit down, and we'll all wait. someone has to figure out that we're stuck in this lift." I gulped, and then nodded, reluctantly sitting down. Today was really the wrong day to face my fears.
