Epilogue

2 years later -

Romeo and I are still together, and we are happy despite having the occasional disagreement like any other couple. We are living together now, and we have been for the last year. Salem has been calling Romeo daddy for the last year and a half. Romeo works at his dad's law firm as a junior lawyer, and he practices family law. I co-own the club with Troyer since he wanted to spend more time at home with Annabell and their two children - Spencer and Torrence.

Romeo and I have adopted his niece and nephew who are Salem's age after their parents, Romeo's brother and sister-in-law, died in a car crash. We adopted them six months ago, and even though they know us, it was understandably a change for Harrison and Harper. Romeo and I also have a three-month-old son named Romeo James Brown Jr.

Johnny and Macey have one son together named Gabriel Lane, which made me sob at the hospital when they told me the baby's name. Little Gabriel was born four months ago, and his first name is after me, and his middle name is after Salem.

I encountered Kingston once about five months ago at the park while Romeo and I were there with our four children. The encounter was on a Saturday around 11 a.m. since Harper, Harrison, and Salem wanted to play at the park down the road from us, so we went before we were to have lunch at home before their naps. Kingston was there with a woman who turned out to be his sister, and her 2-year-old daughter. I had told Romeo about Kingston when we first started dating, so he wasn't shocked when we ran into him. The encounter was awkward since Kingston seemed shocked and hurt that I had moved on, and that we have adopted his niece and nephew, and that we have a baby together. Romeo has also adopted Salem, and this happened when we adopted Harrison and Harper.

All in all, life is amazing with the occassional snag, but I can't complain with my amazing man, and children, who bring joy into my life daily. They make my life glitter.
