The thrill

*click* and the door was unlocked , I dropped my soft leather Givenchy bag on the floor and threw my keys on it as I quickly rushed to remove my heels "GEO!" , heart beating super fast , face as thrilled as a teenage girl falling in love for the first time "Geo where are you!" I called for the final time to walk into the living room and find Georgio cozily settled on the sofa watching a chick flick "calm down , sit down , breathe and spill" he demanded while reaching for his smoothie and grabbing the remote to turn the volume down. I couldn't keep it from my best friend any longer- not to mention my heart was about to explode. "Geo! Are you ready for this?!" He put down his bowl of pasta on the low rise coffee table in front and looked at me "come on hon what is it?" I relaxed and threw myself back on to the sofa with pure bliss "Georgio - I'm in love!- can you believe it .... I'm in love!" He looked surprised but not as surprised as I thought he'd be, he put his hand on mine and gave me a really motherly look "honey, you are a human being , it's human nature to fall in love - it's ok to fall in love okay?.... " he looked slightly worried and I noticed that every word was pure sarcasm. I decided to re-phrase my words to get his attention again "yes but you don't know who with.." I giggled as I teased him "the footballer?" He said with extreme sarcasm and laughed...then his face dropped when he turned to see me nodding, gradually his jaw dropped and eyes lightened "oh m, oh my god!!!! MILA OH MY FUCKING GOD" he pulled me up on to the sofa and the next thing I know we're both jumping on the sofa like absolute mental cases while shouting and laughing- my expensive white sofa was being used as a trampoline by two grown up young adults but I couldn't have cared less at that moment.
After a while we became tired and collapsed down - the setting was so cute - a perfect barça sunset shining through the open balcony doors as the subtle air moved the voile curtains back and forth and me and Geo were sat so cosily on the sofa "Geo he kissed me" I said while hugging the cushion so dreamily "I've never felt this way before - Geo do you know how big this is" , he looked at me still thrilled by my news " honestly, you lucky little bitch Mila- you have a car accident and you find the love of your life who is the hottest football player in the world!" We both giggled as I kept thinking about our encountering earlier and how beautiful his looks were.
Suddenly something striked me as I thought back to the car accident - God I'd almost forgotten about the whole crash; all this adrenaline had knocked me off my feet.
"Geo , everything aside - what were you going to tell me?.... You know? Like just before we crashed?" His face blushed again - it was the same look as earlier , that look where I can see in his eyes that he has big news. He sat up and cleared his throat "ok so today will be good Geo.." I felt bad for rushing him. "Jheeze when did you get so impatient? .. Anyways - ok Milena - ok I've been meaning to tell you this for a long time but I figured that I didn't want to do it over the phone so I waited until I came here so we could talk face to face" I was already 100% gripped to what he had to say "Mila, you're the first person to know this - I've found someone who I like and we've secretly been dating for a few months- I really like him and he loves me too..." Georgio looked so adorable at this moment , his eyes were gleaming from happiness and I was ever so happy for him "honey- I'm so happy for you , honestly that's such lovely news" I squealed as I pulled him in for a hug "so tell me more about the lucky guy haha" I demanded. He gazed out the balcony and took a deep breath "he's beautiful - his name is Hugo, he's a photographer and we met at a gallery - at first I didn't want to say anything because I thought that he's probably straight so I didn't want to be heartbroken but he came up to me and asked for my opinion on his picture , then he asked me out right there and then- we had both fallen in love at first sight".
That reminded me of me and Neymar 'love at first sight' I though and gazed dreamily out at the sunset 'love at first sight' I was thinking of him.

Neymar's POV

I jumped back onto my bed after training and stared blankly into the emptiness on the ceiling . Scenes from earlier kept appearing to me , her perfectly sun-kissed skin and tousled casual hair, her independence. She's beautiful, smart and honourable. Milena. How did she manage to steal my heart so unintentionally ?
I hadn't stopped thinking about her - or our kiss at all. I had to see her again , as soon as possible. Whenever I think about her I feel a sudden rush of happiness. I jumped out of bed and made my way outside to my car. This very car that made me meet the special woman. I had to go see her but where can I find her? I got my phone out and leaned onto the car and dialled her number that she gave me but then cleared it. 'Come on man , you can't cling onto her like this from day 1' I thought but my heart wanted otherwise so I dialled the exact number back and rang her *beep* *beep* *beep* I was begging God for her to answer "hello" SHE ANSWERED! "Oi Milena! , its me.. Neymar" she sounded almost as if she felt exactly the same way as me too "sim, I know - is everything ok?" "Yeah I'm fine - um Milena I was just going to ask you if we could meet up?" "What you mean now?" She sounded a bit surprised "yeah if that's fine with you? Just for a little walk around and talking about us" she didn't reply for a bit "about us? As in you and me ? Us?" I loved the sound of her sweet voice "yes you and me , us".
"Ok so where do you want to meet?" She asked me "actually I wanted to come pick you up, so if you just give me your address I'll come over" she gave me her address and we said our goodbyes. I got in the car wearing my comfy Nike hoody as usual doubting whether I should've put an effort into my outfit or not but then I remembered how understanding Milena was - she wasn't about what kind of clothes someone wears , she's more about how important a person makes her feel and to me she's very important.

Milena's PoV
"Geo , oh my lord GEO HE IS COMING TO PICK ME UP GEO HELP GEO!" My best friend was doing no good but laughing at my desperation "Mila you need to chill darling" that wasn't helping at all.
I looked down at my clothes and felt crap , he'd already seen me in this outfit "Geo why does he want to meet me at this time for gods sake , he's putting me in such an awkward position because now I don't know what to wear , why do you think that he even wants to meet up with me? In fact I think that I really want to see him as well , I kinda miss him - I love him" Georgio's face seemed really confused at me "ok are you done with that honey?" I realised how weird I was being and nodded at him "ok Mila, don't worry about how you look and stay as you are , I bet he's not dressed up either - I think you should take a seat and I'll make us some coffee and relax o que você acha??( what do you think?)" I liked that idea so I nodded again and slowly made my way to the kitchen bar and took a seat. Looking out of the ceiling windows I could see the nightlife of Barcelona just starting and it looked ecstatic. Mmm the aromatic smell of the Colombian coffee bean being roasted was seriously relaxing and the kitchen was just dimmly lit by the long ceiling lights and the Barcelona skyline. Wow. "Coffees ready" Geo stated and my mug was placed in front of me, I was a bit confused. "Geo , I want to hear what you have to say about Neymar... I am very aware that he is a footballer and that they don't often have real relationships with ordinary people like me but for some reason what I felt this morning didn't seem like he was just flirting - I honestly felt like he wanted me and for that reason I think I've crazily fallen in love with this stranger I've just met.." Geo smiled and placed his hand over mine "Mila, you are the strongest girl I know and i have never- not once doubted your decision in my life. You've always known what's right and what's wrong honey and if you really think that you love this man then I wholeheartedly think that you're doing the right thing and I will be behind you every step of the way, have no worries" his warm smile was just what I needed and was making my heart melt, I love Georgio so much and this was exactly why he is and will always be my only best friend , my companion. With Geo by my side there is nothing I feel that I cannot achieve because he's just such an influential person to my life , I will forever be grateful to the Lord for my best friend Geo. I smiled back at him while sqeezing his hand "thank you darling, thank you". We continued drinking our coffees in peace until we heard the knock on the door. He was here. My heart started beating faster than usual again. I felt a bit sick because of the excitement , 'calm down' Geo mouthed to me and I clumsily made my way to the door. A final check in the , a smile and here we go*click* the door unlocked.
"Hi Milena" Neymar said with joy in his voice as his green eyes gleamed with relief and happiness. I wondered if he could see through my face that my own heart was about to fail on me , or if my face was blushing - God help me. "Hi Neymar, would you like to come in or??" He slightly leaned in over me and looked in to the house , he must've seen Geo - sweet heavens his cologne smelt so good "actually what do you say we go out and talk a bit?" I really didn't care at all as long as we got to spend some time together "ok yeah , we'll do that - just let me grab my bag" I quickly turned to slip some sneakers on and grabbed my slouchy bag. What a bad combination I thought  but I wasn't exactly going to a fashion show so I didn't care. I turned back round to face Neymar and shared a mutual smile "you ready to go?" He asked while he was admiring me "Yes" I replied as I pulled the door behind me and followed the very steps of this spectacular man...
