3rd Person POV

It didn't matter how clouded Jasper's mind became, he'd trained himself for months to protect Camila first. Even if that meant from himself. Get her to safety first. In this particular situation it was to get her away from him before he completely snapped, get her away as fast as possible. His theory was there, the practical execution not so much.

The single drop of Bella's blood hadn't even touched the carpet yet when the scent grew stronger and stronger in Jasper's mind. His natural instinct blew everything else away until there was only one thought: drink. Jasper turned to his mate, who's face showed clear panic, but not for herself. No, for him. She was worried for him. Her face paled drastically as she realised what was about to happen.

Her bad feeling was right.

"Jas-" She couldn't even finish his name, only the first syllable leaving her mouth before his hand, the hand that had previously held her close, pressed against her abdomen, sending her flying back until she connected quite forcefully against the opposite wall to where Edward had also launched his mate away, unfortunately, Bella landed against a small shelf where the broken pieces of vase caused a nasty gash in her arm, causing her to bleed more. Camila's head felt foggy from the impact, and she knew a large, dark bruise would form on her back from where she hit the plaster walls, pain exploding all over her body.

All the vegetarian vampires were focusing on subduing the newest addition to their diet, that they didn't notice the growing smell of blood coming from Bella's arm. At least, they didn't notice until Jasper was trapped in Emmett and Carlisle's arms.

Even though her body told her not to move, to stay still so that the pain didn't increase, Cammy managed to push herself up from the ground and wobble over to Jasper, head fuzzy causing her to feel dizzy. She stood in front of him, blocking his view of her best friend and gathering his attention to her- his controlled temptation.

"Jaz, Jaz it's okay. You're okay. We're okay." She whispered, stroking his cheeks to help calm his mind from the frenzy it was currently in.

"It's just a little... blood." Alice continued, although, she stumbled when she realised how strong the scent had grown. She turned to look at the damage behind her, seeing how much more blood there was compared to the original papercut, and couldn't stay in the room anymore, all the vampires par Carlisle leaving.

Carlisle helped Bella up into his office to clean the wound and probably give her stitches in her arm, and while Cammy probably should have got her head checked as well, she chose to follow her mate outside, even though she knew that they'd instantly ran into the forest to hunt animals, cooling everyone off from the temptation that took hold. It didn't matter how long they'd been away from tasting human blood. It would always be like an addiction. She sat down on the decking, staring out into the trees, letting her mind wonder far and wide.

"At least let me check if you have a concussion." She sighed, knowing the doctor wanted to make sure she was alright in this dire time.

Cammy POV

I sat on the decking for hours. I wanted to numb my thoughts. I didn't want to think of anything at that moment. Even with my jacket on, I was starting to feel numb from the September air. And I was trying to numb my thoughts so that the person I could feel poking around up there would have nothing to see. I refused to leave my spot until I could see that he was alright. That he was safe. I mean, I say alright but he's not going to be alright. He's going to be beating himself up about this incident for a long, long time to come.

The pain in my back had subsided a lot, but a lingering ache blanketed my body, especially at the area of impact and on my stomach where there was a small handprinted bruise forming. I didn't blame him. I could never blame him. He was doing it to protect me, get me out of harms way. There was no fear for him there.
