What Happened To Gyrus Krinkle

I have a theory about what must have happened to Gyrus Krinkle in this this episode. You remember the part in which his built world is getting destroyed by the Monkey Team and are all back to the real world out of Krinkle's world machine and then him being overpowered by the machine itself until some of his past memories are shown up and after that he got sucked by the machine's cable until the whole machine itself blew up resulting in his "all of a sudden" disappearance? If you then good. If you don't, I'd suggest you to go watch the episode. It's called "Incident on Ranger 7".

Well, now let's go into the theory I'd like to share with you.

In the end, when the Monkey Team wonders where is Krinkle but they saw that he was attached to the machine's cable that sucked him into the machine itself which blew up afterwards but they didn't make more assumptions to what must have happened to him. Maybe because the creators along with the director and the creator of the show didn't want to make this part of the episode even darker than it already is so they just simply avoided in making the Monkey Team making more assumptions to what must have happened to Krinkle.

Personally as a kid, I couldn't notice nor understand much and I hope that's normal but recalling I watched this episode along with many other ones I could recall specific scenes from, made things easier for me to completely remember which scenes are from which episodes so after being able to rewatch the episodes recently, especially this one as a young adult I now am, the specific moment of the episode made me assume that Krinkle must have died within the machine's explosion in this scenario. Since his machine was attached to him, it means it was attached to his mind as well because we saw that the machine itself was meant to show things as Krinkle wished they were in his mind, which also means that after him being sucked by the cable resulting in him being trapped in his own mind even for a few seconds before the explosion, we also saw that even before he got sucked by the cable, he along with the machine itself were overpowered and out of control in the first place due to him being triggered by the Monkey Team so they could escape his mind to return back to the(ir) real world.

We can basically assume that the explosion happened because of it being overpowered and out of control because of Krinkle himself even after he got sucked inside it because of the cable he was attached to. He tried to escape it, that's why the machine began to shake itself for a few seconds before the explosion but unfortunately, he didn't make it and that's the part which we see the explosion happening because of the overpowering and him being out of control completely. I don't think he could have survived the explosion or he survived the explosion despite that he was trapped inside the machine or else we could have seen him on screen once more. After all, it seemed impossible for him to escape the machine so within the explosion, he died inside it and so did his mind because when a person dies, they say his/hers mind dies within them (no matter if when you're being reborn in a new body, having a new name, identity ect. there is even a little possibility that you'll have memories of who you were in your previous life and body). Not only death occurs when the heart stops beating, right? It also occurs when a person clinically dies but here, I'm talking about a possible (dark) scenario of complete death because the whole body of Krinkle must have died within the explosion that occurred.

So that's why as a young adult I now am, I started assuming that "death", is the reason why we never see Krinkle on screen ever again. I know this theory makes the episode a little bit darker than it already is as like I said earlier but this is the assumption I came up with to excuse Krinkle's "all of a sudden" disappearance and the question of the Monkey Team about "What happened to him (?)".

A last thing I want to add in this worst case scenario is that the basic painting we see near the end of the episode, which is facing his stool and is placed on an easel, seeing him being the leader of the Hyperforce in Chiro's place, thus having a little more screen time of him for even a few seconds before the closure of the episode, he must have finished the painting right before everything took place in his own mind via his machine. Because he must have been aware of what would happen to him if he attached himself to the machine and lost complete control of both it and himself. So he must have thought that it would be better to having finished the specific painting due to his desire of being remembered or at least being imagined in being a hero and the leader of the Hyperforce in Chiro's place like he tried to force himself into trying to take Chiro's place in the first place in the episode "A man called Krinkle" and thus, in the specific episode I started making this theory about ("Incident on Ranger 7").

Even if he survived the explosion but still got trapped into his own mind, that makes him technically alive but just living in his own mind where things are the way he wished for (as said earlier), maybe this is why we see him in one of his basic paintings, being the leader of the Hyperforce thus having a little more screen time of him for even a few seconds. It felt to me like his "ghost" took Chiro's place in the painting or so but I don't think this scenario is standing into the theory of what must have happened to him. Maybe in another scenario, he just travelled into a parallel world where things are as he wanted within the explosion but I don't think this assumptions stands out either.

What do you think of these theories? What do you think might stands out the most? Feel free to reblog this and share your thoughts in the comments below.
