I woke up in my bed to the sunlight going through the curtains. I got up and picked my outfit for the day, I decided to go with an outfit that I used wear a lot at home.

My outfit:

I brushed my teeth and went to the dining room for breakfast. When I walked in the room, I heard Maddison scuff. "What the fuck are you wearing?" She asked almost sarcastically. I frowned and grabbed my right arm with my left hand, feeling insecure. Miss Goode noticed my sadness. "Maddison, that's quite enough! Eat your breakfast and leave her alone!" I felt safe hearing Cordelia defend me. I looked at her and she smiled at me. "(y/n), I love your outfit. I think it suits you a lot." I felt confident from her words and took a seat next to her. "Thank you, Miss Goode. I like your hair, it's very pretty." I thought I saw Delia blush slightly before replying. "Thank you Miss (y/l/n)." I began to eat my food, which was waffles, as it was one of my favourite foods.

After we finished eating, we all went into the main room, Everyone except Cordelia. I followed Delia to a greenhouse, full of plants and potions. I knocked the wall next to the entrance to alert her that I was here. "God (y/n), you startled me. How can I help you?" She asked me while brushing her right index finger along the books, looking for a book on a shelf full of books of all sizes. "Hey, I just wanted to see where you were going, I don't really feel like being in the same room as Maddison." She stopped her finger on a book and pulled it out the shelf and blew the dust off. "That's understandable, would you like to make some potions with me instead?" I smiled at her and nodded excitedly.

Cordelia guided me and educated me on a spell used to make people feel energetic and hyper, at this moment I felt safe and happy. I forgot about my problems and focused on the spell and Cordelia. "Hey Miss Delia, I also wanted to thank you for defending me earlier, in front of Maddison." I stared intently at the book, trying to memorise the words of the spell. "Oh no, that's no problem. I know Maddison can be mean sometimes and I saw how sad you looked." I felt sad thinking about it, I was used to being bullied for my personality. I was mainly bullied for being gay and I didn't want to tell anyone at the Coven in case it would happen again. I felt Cordelia's hand on mine and I snapped out of my trance. "Hey (y/n), are you ok? You were looking at nothing, I thought you had fell asleep?" She chuckled and I looked up at her, gazing deeply into her dark brown eyes. "Yeah, sorry. I was just day dreaming, that's all." I felt lost in her beautiful eyes, she made me feel safe when I looked deeper in her eyes. I began to feel strange, I had butterflies in my stomach and I began to turn red. Delia's eyes fluttered and she looked at my lips, I didn't know what to do or say but I eventually managed to wake up and get back to reality.

"Anyways, I umm- I think maybe we should start to tidy up here, don't you think?" I gulped and closed the book of spells. "Ye- Yeah, we should get ready for lunch" Cordelia stuttered and began to clean up fast, red in the face. We finished tidying up and went to the main room, where the girls were laughing and talking. "Girls, lunch should be ready soon." Cordelia spoke before leaving the room, going towards the kitchen. I sat down on the couch and talked to the other witches for half an hour until Cordelia called us in for lunch. As I entered the dining room, my eyes met with Delia's who was sitting at her usual seat at the head of the table.

We ate in silence and every so often, me and Delia made eye contact but the person who was looking first, always looked away first. After we had finished eating our meal, the witches all went to the main room but I decided to go to my room. I sat on my bed and put my headphones on, playing Dreams by Fleetwood mac. Loads of Stevie Knicks songs later, I could barely hear a knocking at my door. I took my headphones off and asked the person to come in, I was surprized when Zoe came into my room. "Hey (y/n), just me. I just wanted to see that you were ok since you haven't been in the living area today, everything alright?" I smiled and felt relieved that she wasn't Cordelia coming to ask about earlier. "Hi, yeah, I'm ok. I just like my alone time that's all. But I suppose your half right, I'm still very new to being a witch, it's just weird." I looked at her and had a tired smile on my face. "Yeah I totally understand, I was just the same when I got here. But I know you will feel at home very soon, I think you will really like it here with us." I smiled at her. "Yeah, I know your right. Thank you Zoe." She smiled and spoke. "Anytime (y/n)." A light knock came at the ajar door. "Hey girls, I don't mean to disturb you but dinner is ready." Cordelia's soothing voice came from the door. "Yeah, we'll be down in a second." Zoe replied in her friendly voice. Cordelia looked at me and smiled before disappearing down the hallway.

I walked to the dining table with Zoe on my left. We entered the room and sat at our chosen seats. "Enjoy your food." Cordelia said before eating the food. I ate slowly, thinking about the moment I had with Delia earlier, blushing when I remembered. "Why so quiet goth chick?" Maddison spoke, clearly directed to me. "Leave her alone bitch." Queenie said, sounding quite fed up with Maddison. I didn't really know what to think, I didn't know what to say to her. "I uh- I'm not really a talkative person." I swallowed and took another bite of my meal. "hah, tell me about it" She spoke with a sarcastic tone, rolling her eyes at the same time. I just looked down and felt quite sad that she was being so cold to me. A sudden warm hand touched my left forearm, it was Cordelia. She didn't speak, she just looked at me with a comforting smile, reassuring me that I was ok.

When we had all finished our meals, we headed to our rooms. I changed into my pj's and began to listen to my music. I heard someone knock at my door and I clicked my head to the door. I heard Delia's sweet voice ask to come in and I said yes. "Hey Miss Goode, Can I help you?" I felt the same feeling in my stomach, like I was nervous around her. "No, I just wanted to ask about what happened earlier? Did you feel what I did?" She sat next to me on the bed and seemed anxious. "I- I, yeah. Yeah I felt it. But I'm sorry, I wish I could make the feeling go awa-" Before I could finish my sentence, Cordelia leaned in and kissed me. Her lips were soft and smooth, we kissed for a few seconds before Miss Goode pulled away. "Oh- oh god, I- I'm so sorry." Cordelia got up and left before I could even think. I couldn't do anything but sit on my bed, catching my breathe and wanting more.
