The bad beginning

i wasn't always like this, i used to be good in school i used to get straight A's in every subject. That was until 3 months ago, when the person I'd trusted most, the only constent person in my life, walked out of it for good.

**

I was stood outside the front of my house for what seemed like hours waiting for the bus to arrive to take me away, i couldn't believe I was actually doing this.

Why is it you get two bad grades and you're mum decides you need to go away to summer-school, okay, so it's actually more like a summer camp then school, but still, same difference.

I used to get really good grades for everything, especially math and English, but due to the year I had, I was finding it extremely hard to concentrate on any school work.

What can you expect, you'd probably get terrible grades too if the one person who made you feel like you belonged in the word walked out on you for no reason.

Well that's what happened to me, and as my mum says, i just have to learn to live with it, or in this case learn to live without him.

I got my phone out to pass the time when the sound of a gate being slammed closed got my attention.

I looked up to the house directly opposite mine on the other side of the road, and sure enough stood there in his usual outfit, a plan black T-shirt and black jeans, was klaus 'I'm so much better than everyone else' Robinson.

Maybe if i go back to what i was doing he wont see me?

who was i kidding this was klaus Robinson we were talking about, and anyone who knows klaus knows he's made it his lives mission to annoy me, at least, once a day.

'Please don't come over here, please don't-'

"Abbey!!!" He shouted in an over exaggerated voice as he crossed the road.

He walked up to me from across the street but i didn't look up from my phone. I'd had the idea that maybe if i ignored him, or acted like i didnt know he was there, he would go away.

There's no such luck.

"Abbey?" He said again, this time touching my shoulder to try and turn me around.

"What do you want?" I snapped looking up from what I was doing.

"I was just saying hi." He replied stepping back and throwing his hands up in the air as if to prove his innocence.

There's nothing innocent about him

"I'm not in the mood, klaus, I'm actually waiting for someone." I told him looking back at the my phone for the one thousandth time.

"And who says I'm not."

"Well, why can't you wait on you're side of the road then." I had completely given up on my phone now, there was no way i could concentrate on what i was doing with him stood right there literally breathing down my neck.

"As much as i would love to do that," he started, running his hand through his dirty blonde hair. "I actually have to be on this side."

I rolled my eyes and turned my head away from him. Finally I saw the yellow school bus turning the corner of the road onto golden trout avenue.

"my rides finally here." I said bluntly, turning my back to him, picking my backpack up of the pavement and dragging my suitcase behind me ready to leave.

"Wait, you're going to summer-school?" He asked sounding suprised

"No" i reply handing the driver my suitcase so he can put it in the luggage compartment underneath the coach. "I'm going to summer camp" I say sarcastically.

"Same difference." He shruggs before walking passed me and climbing on to the coach.

"What-" is all that escaped from my lips. Klaus Robinson was going to be at the same summer-school/camp as me? This was going to be the longest 6 weeks of my life.
