Koala hut

We've finally arrived at summer camp and I've been woken up by a somewhat less obnoxious klaus.

"Hahaha, you think you're so funny, don't you?"

"Yup." He says popping the "p" at the end of the word. "And you love it."

'What the-'

"Eww" I Answer as I stand up from my seat pushing him aside. He follows me of off the bus.

"This place is beautiful!" I exclaim.

"It's alright." Klaus shruggs as he steps of the bus behind me.

We walk to catch up as the rest of the group have already made it to the mess hall.

"We're late." Klaus says stating the obvious. "Guess we'll have to sit next to each other again. Huh."

I roll my eyes as I take a set next to him.

The room We're in is a big hall with chairs put in lines in front of a make-shift stage like a school assembly. A middle aged man with gray hair steps up onto the stage dressed in Jeans and a T-shirt, not what I expected, he starts to talk onto the Mike and the room immediately went silent.

"Exuse me, can I have everyone's attention please?" The way he said this sounded like he'd done the same thing hundreds of times before. "My name is Mr peacock, my friends how ever call me woody, I'm hoping most of us will become very good friends." I roll my eyes, he is way to enthusiastic for my taste.

*20 minutes later*

"Now I am going to call out all of your names when you hear yours come and stand at the front." Mr peacock instructed "we'll start with koala hut, dash Anthony, janein Applebey, ben bencher, penny denshon, jackson freedon, klause Robinson."I here klauses name called out and just as I think he's finished he then adds another name to the list.

"Abby Thompson." I freeze, as I realise I've been put in the same hut as him.

"Abby Thompson, come up please?"

"Hey, he's calling you." Says Klaus taking my hand and pulling me up so I stand next to him.

"Ah, there you are, come on up there's no need to be shy."

Me and Klaus walk to the stage and we are all led of by a younger leader with light brown hair, she's wearing a dark green sun hat that goes with her uniform and a whistle around her neck.

The girl, who's name I found out Is Sophie, leads us to a row of cute little huts at the edge of the camp, she stops in front of one hut in particular, which must be ours as there is a picture of a koala carved into the wood above the door.

I look down as I notice that klaus is still holding my hand. I slowly pull it away is we all follow Sophie into koala hut.

"This is Where you will be staying during your stay here at sunny down camp, boys bedrooms are on the left, girl's on the right. This is the communal area where any of you are allowed." Sophie explains gesturing towards the rooms as she mentions them. "I will be back in an hour to take you to your first activitys, so make sure you use that time Wisley to unpack all your things and get to know each other, if you need me I am staying in the little hut next door."

Sophie leaves and everyone makes there way to there bedrooms.
As I enter I notice that the other three girls have already chosen there beds. 'I guess I'll take this one then.' I think to myself as I swing my bag onto the bed in the far left corner furtherst away from the door.
