The sun beams in from the window, heating the cobblestone and wooden floor that the two lay on. A ray of heat on Arabella's face causes her to yawn, slowly opening her eyes. Arabella's face travels over to Draco's for a moment, smiling. She looks at him as he continues to sleep, not realizing where the two are or what time it is. Finally, she looks up at the sun shining behind Draco, realizing the rounded window and looking around the room. She's come to see that her and Draco had fallen asleep in the astronomy classroom last night, yet she had barley any recollection of what had happened. She looks down at herself, realizing she was wrapped in Draco's house robe. " Draco," She whispers, shaking his arm. " Draco, wake up," she fusses, turning to look at him and continuing to shake him. " What, Arabella," he groans in a tired voice his eyes barley opened. It's silent for a moment before he realized what he had said. " Arabella?" He snorts, jumping up. " Bloody," he whispers under his breath, standing to his feet and collecting his things. Arabella pushes herself off the group and grabs her bag, putting her potion books back into it. She watches as Draco puts his potion ingredients back into his case. " What are you staring at, go to class!" He hisses, closing his case. " Draco, we have class together why don't we just-" Arabella begins to offer walking to class together but Draco cuts her off, " I don't want to be seen with you, Arabella. And don't fucking tell anybody we were here longer than we should've been!" Arabella stands there for only a moment, before grumbling under her breath and storming off downstairs. She needed to make it to class quickly, so at least she wouldn't be to late.
Arabella had no memories after a certain point last night. She couldn't remember a thing. But Draco remembered everything. The two of them had gotten a lot more cozy than he would've liked to admit. After trying the Veritaserum, they'd told each other more than they'd care to share. And that combined with goofing off with Draco's spells and a lack of sleep, led to them just crashing. Once Arabella had fallen asleep, Draco had put his robe on her to keep her warm, as it would get cold this high up. He's kissed her forehead, and he himself accidently fell asleep beside her. This was all he could think about while walking to class. If Arabella were to remember what had happened last night, she would know how Draco really felt. He didn't want anybody to know that.
" You're late-" Mr. Moody fusses as Arabella walks in. " Sorry sir," She smiles, looking for her friends. She see's a puzzled look on Hermione's face, as she begins to walk over. " Miss Greenwater?" Moody raises an eyebrow and wobbles over towards her, as she takes her seat next to Hermione. " Yes, Mr. Moody?" She asks, pulling her book from her bag. " Last I was aware you were a member of the Gryffindor house and so long as the rules hasn't changed since my time here at Hogwarts. . . you can't switch houses, can ye?" Arabella's face turns cold, and paler than usual. " Sir-" Before Arabella can explain the doors to the classroom open again, Draco walking in wearing his school uniform yet. . . lacking his robe. Alaster Moody takes a look at him as he slips into his seat, then a look back at Arabella, and he nods his head. " That explains it. . . " he grins, eerily. " Detention, the both of ye!" Arabella groans and Draco rolls his eyes.
Arabella rummages through her bag, trying to find a quill, but can't seem to find one. She leans forward a bit and whispers, " Ron. . . Ron!" He looks over his shoulder slightly and gives a huff at her, before returning to his work and ignoring her. " What's his problem?" Arabella asks Hermione, slouching back in her seat and crossing her arms. Hermione hands her a spare quill and she eye signals to Draco, and back to the robe Arabella is wearing.
" What happened between you two?" Harry asks, running to catch up to Arabella after class. " I can't seem to remember, which is odd. He and I were working on our project then the next thing I remember it's today," Arabella explains, " I was actually going to ask Hermione to help me figure it out once classes and my detention were done for the day, she usually knows how to fix things like this." Harry nods in agreement," You better, I think Ron's got the wrong idea about things and it's bothering him." Arabella stops walking for a minute, taken aback by what Harry said. " I've got to go to class," She says, trying to throw him off. " See you at lunch?" He asks. Arabella forces a smile and nods, letting Harry walk off. She stalls for a moment, thinking about that. Ron upset with her, over Draco. She hated the idea of any of her friends being angry with her, especially over something like that. And Ron was her best friend, the last thing she wanted was for him to have the wrong idea. She shakes the thought from her head, what did I say? She's blind when it comes to how Ron feels. Finally she realizes the time and heads back to her class, She's figure it out later.
Arabella walks into the dining hall. She scans the room looking for her friends, and sees them in the usual spot they sit in. Ron's head is down as he shovels food into his mouth, Hermione's head in a book, and Harry staring at the goblet on the stage. Arabella walks towards the table, looking back and seeing Draco with his head on his hand. His eyes raise for a moment, connecting with Arabella's. She tries to smile at him but he quickly looks away. " Arabella," Hermione smiles, looking up for a quick moment. Arabella smiles in return and takes her seat next to Harry. " Who do you think is going to submit their name later?" Harry asks, not taking his eyes off the goblet. " Oh Merlin, I forgot about that," Arabella snaps from her thoughts and looks at Hermione. " It's okay, we can just do that tonight," Hermione responds, nodding and looking up from her book. Arabella knows what she's referring to but Ron looks confused, looking at Arabella for a moment then turning his head to Hermione. He isn't sure what the two are talking about and that adds confusion onto the hurt he has from not knowing the situation between Arabella and Draco. Arabella looks back over her shoulder to Cedric, " We all know who the champion from Hogwarts will be." Hermione looks back and follows Arabella's gaze, " Not even the Goblet could change that." As Arabella starts to turn back but hears a voice from behind her. That of Hazel Rosewood, a 5th year Ravenclaw, she was a rude girl, known for her wit and cleverness. " Is it true, Arabella?" She snorts, a vein sound in her voice. Arabella licks her lips then turns back to face Hazel. " What, Hazel?" Arabella asks, it's obvious that she's annoyed. " You and Draco? Is it true you two were together last night? Everybody's talking about how you got caught with his robe. . . I'd never expect him to get caught shagging a girl like you," Hazel could shoot darts with her eyes, and it's very obvious that it's throwing Arabella off. Hermione glares at Hazel, and grabs Arabella's arm, turning her back to the table. " It's okay, Arabella," Harry says, " Don't listen to her." Ron has an aggravated look on his face, but not towards Hazel. . . towards Arabella. " We'll find out the truth, I promise," Hermione comforts, laying her head over on Arabella's shoulder. Arabella slightly turns her head and glances back to where Draco had been sitting when she walked in. Only for her eyes to be met by Draco's, who was already looking her way.
