Ok so this is my first story/book ever wtitten on here so I want comments as much as possible and all. I got this idea from reading some books from other peoples storys about how all females seem to be mated to the Alpha I put a twist in to my story. Well I want comments on ideas and what can make my story better. so now here is The Old Alpha and the New Alpha:

*****************************

I stood in my closet searching for my beat up black sweatpants and black shirt that I normally wore on nights like these, but then again most Assassins did. Once finding them I threw them on glad that they were the oldest, most comfy, and ready to be shredded into pieces when I shift. Walking out of the closet I went to my personal bathroom to do something with my hair, after contemplating for on which hairstyle I grabbed a pony tail and put my naturally white hair in a braid to keep it out of my face.

Ready I walked out of my room to join the other Assassins who shared the house with me. There were whispers about the rumors that were going on about why we were gathering in a battle ring, about who had been the one to challenge the alpha wolf of our pack. The Alpha is a 19 year old guy, only a year older than me, whose parents had both died a year ago making him the Alpha wolf after giving his position in the assassins to me.

My stomach filled with butterflies as we walked out taking our position in the large circle preparing for the match. From the back of the assassins I watched as Damien, the Alpha, stepped in to the center of the ring grabbing every ones attention then said “We all know why we are her in the battle ring for those who don’t, a few days ago I was challenged anonymously asking that tonight be our battle and the wolf will show himself when I call him forth.” He paused for a moment then called out “come forth my challenger.”

Pushing through the men standing in front of me I slowly walked into the circle prepared for the shouts of disapproval. Stepping in front of him I crossed my arms over my chest a smirk on my face compared to the shock in his eyes as my mom yelled “No Abigail! Don’t risk your rank!”

I rolled my eyes Ranks in the pack were all these people cared about, all of us wanting to be over someone and I was the only one brave enough to challenge him, it was all I needed is for them to know I’m not a coward. Turing back to Damien I looked him straight in the eyes slightly teasing him as I asked, “Are you gonna fight? Or are you gonna give me the rank with out a fight?”

Glaring at me he growled “Don’t cry when you lose.” He turned walked to the opposite side of the rink and shifted.

I stood there watching before shifting not bothering with any of my clothing garments. There were a bunch of gasps as they looked at my pitch lack fur with neon war paint markings running all over my body I smirked then watched as the large brown wolf approached me. I watched carefully and thoughtfully considering any of his weaknesses, I slowly noticed that speed wouldn’t be on his side since he was both bigger and stronger than me.

‘You should really start to consider what your limits are’ the wolf thought to me

I just gave a small sweet smile before lunging towards his legs a snarl escaped my throat leaving both Damien and the pack in shock as he fell to the ground, hard. I went for the stomach only to be hit in the side of the head with his paw sending me a couple of feet behind him. ‘Smart move’ I thought to him as I mercilessly kept attacking him before he was able to stand up all the way making him fall again but this time he couldn’t get up so I went for the final low of drawing blood. Smirking once again, I drew both of my front paws claws digging into the flesh as I dragged them down his back that was now bleeding. ‘I know my limits but do you know yours?’ I taunted.

Stepping back the Pack doctor ran towards the fallen male that lies in front of me, the pack in awe. I walked towards my parents, gently tugging on my moms sleeve asking for the clothes she always kept with her. Sighing she shook her head as she placed the garments in my mouth.

Walking out from behind the clump of bushes I was changing behind finding Damien sitting up right shirtless with bandages wrapped around his torso, and was wearing a pair of basketball shorts. I slowly made my way towards him and offered a hand to help him up. “Sorry I was just doing what we were taught, be merciless,” I said as he took my hand.

He only nodded in acknowledgement with understanding in his eyes which we also filled with awe, guilt, and pain. “I Damien RedHawk have failed to protect my rank as alpha to Abigail Wahya. I peacefully hand over my rank seeking no revenge.” Damien announced and as soon as he was done he took a step back then kneeled before me, with the pack following.

I nodded in acknowledgment, turned, and walked back to my room needing to think and finish a book before tomorrow. I grabbed the book and collapsed on my bed still amazed at what I had just done.

I was the first female alpha that didn’t have a mate.

So comment please and let me know what you think I will post the next chapter up later.
