Being born in a family of a doctor and a lawyer meant that even as a young kid Athanas had to take care of himself. His parents worked almost all day every day and he was pretty much responsible for himself. They wanted him to follow their footsteps and become someone relevant to the world around him, but he had other ambitions. Athanas wanted to become a wreslter, a dream his parents didn't support, yet a dream he went all out for.
He moved out of his family home on his 18th birthday and immediately moved to Germany, where he trained to become a wreslter. As soon as he completed his training Athanas took over the European wrestling scene by a storm.
As a person Athanas is kind, sweet, energetic, passionate, cool, relaxed, helpful, cheerful, hard working, smart and socially extroverted. As a wrestler he is a high flyer, quick as a cat and agile like an antelope.
He was 24 years old when he got his first major contract outside of Europe, with Impact! wrestling. From 2019 to 2021 he was one of the main event guys, but only held one championship reigns with the XDivsion Championship around his waist for 2 months. He wasn't exactly thrilled with what Impact! management had in store for him so he chose not to resign. A big match was boiling up for Athanas not even a week after his contract expired.
